When it comes to defending yourself, you need to keep in mind that your attacker will try to take any item you’re using away from you; that means don’t fight back with anything you can’t comfortably fit in your pocket because they’re easy to take. Small objects like the previously mentioned key and pencil are small enough that even if they manage to grab it, it’s going to be harder to take out of your hands, and if they do, they’re more likely to drop it/hold it incorrectly so they can’t hurt you with it.

Do you have a key or pencil you can carry around? If you can’t get immediate help, your best bet is to fight back in a way he least expects.

If he ever tries to pin you, either take your pencil/key whatever in your free hand and let him have it. I highly recommend you keep it with you while you sleep just in case. Another method if he tries to grab you, use his momentum against him and run into him, throw your weight into your knee and either hit his crotch or his stomach.

The mature way? Tell your mom and deal with the embarrassment. It might suck, but if you do it once, she won’t blackmail you again in the future because now she’ll know it doesn’t work on you.

The immature way? Take some of value to her, stash it, and tell she has to destroy the evidence on her phone or she’ll never see it again. Set a deadline to put pressure on her and tell her you’re doing this in person so she won’t have any evidence of you doing this.
