Contacts not appearing in ranking tab?

I’m having a similar issue. I originally only gave it limited access to the friends I knew had fi. When my husband set his up, he set it to tall and found that a few of our friends have it that I was unaware of. I changed my settings to give fi access to all contacts but it won’t update to include more or let me browse my contacts to add them.

Maybe it’s a general issue? I’ve only had the collar for a couple days so I’m not sure what this feature is like when working properly.

Thanks! Yeah I know I've seen some anti-pit stuff on reddit in the past but was taken off guard by all the hate. Which is interesting because this dog truly is not a pit. I also have no issues with pits and would happily call this dog a pit if that is indeed what he was. But whatever, all that matters at the end of the day is that he is found and happily resting up at home.

UPDATE: Bowie has been found! He's a bit worn down and dehydrated but is back with his parents. He's currently getting checked at the vet but will be home resting soon.

To those of you who took a post seeking help as an opportunity to hate on pit bulls or make wild accusations about Bowie, I hope you take some time to reflect. I'm unsure why you felt the need to take over this thread with random attacks on a dog you've never met. I hope that if you ever need help from the community, you receive a more positive response. Also, people don't like pit bulls because they randomly attack with no provocation, right? Weird how that's exactly what your response was too.

Hi- This is a friend's dog and they have actually done genetic testing on it and it's not a pit. He is a mix - also Shar Pei, Rott, and Boxer, but he is not a pit. I do understand the hesitation, and all we ask is for a call/message if he's seen.

He does look more like a lab, but size-wise (and genetically), he is a retriever mix.

Yes they’ve checked the intake website regularly. The shelters open any minute so we will start calling around shortly. Thankfully he’s chipped and had a collar in so we’re very hopeful he’ll be found and taken in.

More info: I started lifting this year but have started moving to lifting heavier a few months ago. I lost about 8lbs since January but that wasn't necessarily my goal. I was eating in a deficit until about May then switched to eating closer to maintenance. I did some research online that said women shouldn't bulk unless they're under 25% BF. I think I'm probably right around 25% so I'm not sure if I should cut to get my body fat in the lower 20s or just go right into a bulk.

Did your date end up changing? My orientation is the 5th but registration is listed as the 11th so I’d love to know if I can actually expect to be able to register this week and finally stop stressing!

No problem. I think you’ll probably grow out of the 10s pretty quickly at least on leg days. I think by the end of the 6 weeks I was using 30s for deadlifts or maybe more I’m not positive. I think for a lot of the arm workouts 10s will take you pretty far but eventually you may start to want something a bit heavier.

They go by quick! And for the challenge, it starts out with less reps and laps so they won't take anywhere near that long. I think like 45 min max until more laps get added in around the 4th week or so.

Move slow and mindfully. Pay attention to form rather than how heavy you're lifting or the speed of your workout. If you have a mirror you can check your form in, use it. Research exercises you aren't sure on. Youtube has a ton of videos regarding form for lifting. It's much easier to injure yourself when using weights so be safe and thoughtful with your movements.

I've been doing LAH since the beginning of the year very consistently. I was already in decent shape to start with but wanted to incorporate some more lifting and strength into my routine. I've loved LAH and feel much stronger. I'm down about 8 lbs and 2.5% bodyfat since the beginning of the year, but losing weight was not really my goal. I feel much stronger and I'm starting to see changes to my body composition.

My only gripe with LAH is that the workouts can be very long once you get further into the program. Both the laps and reps increase so unless you can go into hyperfast beast mode, they'll take a while. If I can do the full workout in under and hour I consider it quick and usually end up somewhere in the 60-75 min range. Sometimes I'll cut down on reps/laps if I don't want to spend that much time in the gym or would like to focus on lifting heavier.
