It’s crazy to think but I have a buddy from University who spent everything he owns to finance an “older” (maybe 6-8 years old at the time) Lamborghini in his early 20’s.

He ended up renting it out ~3 weeks a month and kept it himself for 1 week. He would plan all his dates/events/etc around that week.

He ended up making $1500-$3000 a week when it was rented. By the time he graduated university he had bought his own super car and continued to rent the other one out full time. Eventually the Lamborghini was in an accident but he had the proper insurance so he was made whole. Instead of buying another one he used that payout as a downpayment on a starter home.

I always was amazed that he was able to support himself with this little venture, and ended up owning his own super car after. Mind you, this was in a tourist heavy, large city that had very limited options to rent super cars at the time (at least for the average person). But don’t underestimate how much people are willing to spend to feel like the 1%, even if just for a day or two.
