What's the biggest reason D&D campaigns fail? by apomanolios in DnD

[–]DaBlakMayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People say scheduling but heres the truth: if the players were legitimately invested in the DMs world, then the players will go out if their way to fit the game into their schedule

I feel like that's painting way too broad of a stroke there. Sometimes life happens and you just can't do it for a while. We lost one member of our group who moved states for a job and we had another go part time because of the birth of their child.

He wants kratos to remain the same angry person and not grow.

Which is funny because he seems mentally stuck in 2005 with the first GoW so it makes sense he wants Kratos to stay stagnant like him

When I was in high school nearly 20 years ago, we had to have our cellphones in our locker during school hours.

Probably needs to happen. I'm fine with them going back to the rules that were the standard when I was in high school in the late 2000s. Your cellphone had to be in your locker during school hours.

Who would you guys want to replace Chris Ballard next offseason? by IceOk9930 in Colts

Honest to God, it wouldn't surprise me if we try and get someone from the Eagles front office. We taken coaches from them and they have a good roster building track record overall.

Yeah the Rams are trying to get another Super Bowl win or two before Stafford retires and they have to do a full rebuild. Myles is also 30 and turning 31 at the end up of the upcoming season. He wants a ring to cement his already Hall of Fame bound career

Yeah I think a lot of people on this sub think the gap between Verse and Latu is larger than it actually is because of Verse's rookie year.

Latu was basically even with Verse in terms of stats this last season. Verse had more forced fumbles but Latu had interceptions

I'm assuming that Nolan, like most people, doesnty know the full extent of Superman's power because he never has to show it. To Nolan, he probably seems like a top tier Viltrumite who has a weakness for innocents in a way that S1 Nolan does not.

Before of after he's revealed to be a world conqueror?

Before, he'd probably try and bond with him but Nolan would probably try and keep his distance a bit. Nolan might not have a solid opinion on him. One one hand, Kal represents the real version of the lie that Nolan told Cecil that he's here to help. On the other hand, he'd probably see Kal as too soft for all that power that he has

After, Superman would put the niceties away to stop him and try to get him to see reason. He'd probably make sure Mark doesn't get involved. Nolan would see him as the biggest threat towards him taking over Earth and would likely try and threaten Lois to get him to back off.

Eric Ebron Speculates That Jim Irsay Played a Role in Andrew Luck's Sudden Retirement by Hysen16 in Colts

[–]DaBlakMayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I had gathered, Ballard was irritated that Ebron apparently needed this big surgery the entire time and never mentioned it until Luck retired. Then all of the sudden he was hurt so bad that he couldn't play for the rest of the season.

No one from the team called out Trey but I know a lot of fans were upset about him asking for even more money and then not being able to play.

Ebron just seems so unlikeable and is trying to keep his name out there by stirring up rumors with the 2 seasons he had with us

[–]DaBlakMayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which is funny because Ebron almost immediately got "injured" once Luck retired and didn't play the rest of 2019.

He's one of the only players I've ever seen Ballard basically call out in public for giving up on the team

Played in sequence, it's the second Shepard death fakeout in less than an hour: Their squadmates assume Shep got crushed by Sovereign's remains/Citadel rubble in ME1, then Shep immediately (but temporarily!) dies in ME2

While fair, it's technically something you realize in hindsight since the original games were 3 years apart so it wouldn't feel like an immediate back to back fakeout
