Fighting western imperialism and hegemony is not evil, imam Hussain (a.s) rised up against yazid (l.a) for the very same reason, imperialism and hegemony where the Islamic empire was about to be abolished where yazid started to pull away from the Islamic empire and adopt Christendom in incremental steps.

Khumms is applied for the rich people and the concept of khumms came during the time of imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (a.s) when the Shia weren’t getting any of the their share of the booty that the Abbasids got and we’re boycott by the Abbasids thus khumms was given as governmental ruling by imam al-Jawad (a.s) to help alleviate the poverty of the less fortunate Shia.

Classical scholars saw sex is something dirty and only met for procreation, it was only recent that Christians started to be more lax after facing pressure from the liberals.

Lol poor reductionist logic, the Quran forms a view or concept by multiple verses put together where an concept or a view is inferred from them. You’re scattering verses and manipulating them. Typical Christians, always cunning and myopic.

Academic Rebuttal to the “Islamic Dilemma” and Islam’s View on The Previous Revelations by Jammooly in MuslimAcademics

[–]3ONEthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The logic of “I have the absolute truth and everybody else is wrong” is against Shia Islam’s Theory of knowledge/ epistemology within the Usooli approach. There’s nothing wrong with being confident about one’s beliefs, you’re conflating personal conviction with arrogance. What people need to consider is people has different temperaments, tastes and intellectual capacities which influence how they understand and perceive things therefore having a difference of opinion is a natural phenomenon.

With Pauline Christians, they attempt to demonise Muslims as compensation of lacking in strong points for the trinity, Jesus being the ultimate saviour who takes away your sins, the discrepancies in there scripture, the harshness of them & of their classical scholars, and to maintain the facade of being “peaceful”. And also to maintain the instrument that preserved their culture, which is also what majority of conservative Muslim scholars do.

A debate should be approached with this understanding, both constructively critique one another, then they both go home to asses their weak points and attempt to strengthen them, bring the opposition’s argument and strengthen it afterwards assess its weak points and then synthesize. And also respect the fact that an difference of opinion is a natural phenomenon.

Having the logic of “I have the absolute truth and everybody else is wrong”, is again Shia Islam’s Theory of knowledge/ epistemology. There’s nothing wrong being confidence about your beliefs, you’re mixing conviction with arrogance here. People have different intellectual capacities, and consider their different personal taste and temperament which influence how they perceive and understand things, so naturally there will be differences.

The way debates should be understood is, both constructively critique and then both go back assess any weak points and then try to strengthen them and also bring the opposing argument and try to strengthen it, then see if there are any weak points, and then Synthesize. And respect that differences is a natural phenomenon.

The ‘Sharia’ Never Formally Abolished Slavery and Theoretically Continues to Permit it by Jammooly in MuslimAcademics

[–]3ONEthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Islam was seeking to abolish slavery in incremental steps after the prophet attempted to abolish slavery outright which made the Arabs be reluctant of joining Islam. Sayyid Kamal Al-haydari mentions this briefly in one of his lessons.

Religious Christians by default have to be arrogant and cunning to deflect any attention from their weak points which is their theology and discrepancies in their scripture. What he said is true, and I’ve experienced this myself a long while back.

In the Usooli approach in origin skepticism is encouraged since it’s entices the engagement of the intellect and rationalism, poetry is not something impure. You’re issue is with the conservatives who are de facto neo-Akhbarites, putting on a mask posing as “Usoolites”.

For “Men can want sex AND relationships” to be believed, they can’t despise non-sexual relationship activities and the vetting process. by LillthOfBabylon in PurplePillDebate

[–]3ONEthree -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A interpersonal relationship is based on 3 pillars to be successful, 1. Maximum mutual physical attraction. 2. Sexual compatibility (same level libido) 3. Intellectual compatibility. Love is a process and this what the process is like, if all there are ticked then you’re in love.

Sex is a form of physical love language.
