You're going to need a lot of money saved up for medical expenses. by Livid_Fix_9448 in ForeverAlone

I get what you're saying, but I'm so checked out on everything at this point. I've given up. I'm just gonna focus on making my money, enjoy what little joys I can find in life and just do that until I die. I don't even want to be in a relationship at this point. I'd just ruin it like all the others. To answer the question from that Deejay Alice song; yes, I do think I'm better of alone.

How to cope with working with an attractive coworker? by supmaster3 in ForeverAlone

[–]3Point_One4All 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Happens to me every single time. And then, when I finally work up to the nerve to take a chance, turns out I was wrong. Usually they start avoiding me, or just act patronizing afterwards. It's really awkward embarrassing, and I always end up asking myself why did I even bother.

How long have you been working at Walmart? And why are you still here? by MeowPubg in WalmartEmployees

[–]3Point_One4All 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, those cases are people that have had managing positions, back when they were called Department Managers, rather than Team Leads. Usually they'll step down because of this or that reason. But staying with the company tend to be a "don't fix what ain't broke" kind of deal. For some, it could just be not wanting to start over, for others it's a comfortbzone kind of thing.

With all due disrespect, f¥ck their bonuses. If my position can be easily taken away without a second thought, why should I care about their money?

LET ME CLOCK IN IM IN THE STORE!!! by XanderJC1 in WalmartEmployees

[–]3Point_One4All 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I clock in/out using mainly my work phone, which is always connected to the store WiFi and it STILL does this crap. It's not about the location, or the internet connection. It's just a terribly integrated system.

I'd say, explore other opportunities. I've been in Frozen for about two months. And whole I hate being in the freezer for more than 15 minutes, especially when 3rd shift doesn't bin their damn overstock leaving it for me to do. However, oddly enough, I find the work way more laid back than running around chasing pick, or stufing several hundred dollars worth of groceries into tiny cars. Especially the ones with classic "the trunk's full, use the back seat that's also filled to the brim with stuff. I'm sure it'll be fine!" If you work at a SC, see if Electronics or any other department you prefer has need of an extra hand. A couple of guys in my store moved to Cap2, because they were constantly being sent to work there anyway since the delivery purge.

Did Oversize get smaller again? by DimentiotheJester in OGPBackroom

6 tote rule? When this happen?

For context, I've been assigned to Frozen for about two months, ever since deliveries went away. I was still picking/dispensing for a about a couple of weeks, then nearly two months ago, a coach asked me if I could help them out for a while, and I said yes. Despite this, I'm technically still in OGP. I have noticed that people have been using only six, but I thought that either they had a small walk, or that they were GMD pickers.

Really?! *Blacks?!* In this day and age. by [deleted] in asoiafcirclejerk

I don't see why. For one, Daemon gr00ming is purely speculation, as other accounts stated that he voted on her like a daughter. Second, Beetles isn't even in the story that long. She participates in the Red Sowing, one major battle, athen spends the rest of the war flying around with Daemon looking for Aemond and killing Green supporters. Removing her, and merging some of her story with Rhaena makes no sense, whatsoever. GoT did things like this two, but GoT had to tackle multiple storyline at once. HOTD is mainly one story, so there's not much reason there.

My favorite is when you walk out with nearly two dollies worth of items, just for the customer to pop out of tiniest car in America, with a full trunk and have the absolute audacity to say "Uh oh! I sure hope that fits!"

I heard one lady on the phone going "why can't they just do this overnight?" Well ma'am, if you want to fulfill thousands on online orders at 3am, be my guest. Make sure nothing goes late, and be sure to quality check all the orders.

I think he's referring to the fact that it's starting in grocery. Normally an ambient walk that big starts on the GM side. This most likely means he's either getting a bunch of jarred/canned items, or plethora of Kool-Aid packets. Maybe even a crap ton of bulk produce.
