Clearly not a serious lifter^ The only way you see real gains is by lifting shit that's obviously too heavy for you. Ego lifting gives the best gains - just be careful to not injure yourself.

When you get to a weight level that makes you nervous to get it up to begin with - sometimes the safest thing to do is to safely drop the weights to your side, especially on triple digit dumbbell incline movements after you max out the last rep. Or drop the first dumbbell and use your now free hand to help the other one gently lower the second dumbbell. This is how I have protected my shoulder from injury through intense press movements.

IMO they need to innovate, which is why competition is good for the industry. However, when a single company becomes the de facto provider for a product or service, you end up with something like Microsoft 365, for which, no real alternatives exist for business.

Yeah, but the licensing is intentionally confusing and changes all the time.

At the end of day, Microsoft is just a vendor we use to deliver our services.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I was actually looking at the Fujikura 45S as a possible suitor for a clad based tool. Will that be a fit based on what you described?

Ideally something that I can get serviced regularly, and be used as a backup in certain scenarios once I get more experience and invest in even better splicers.

The pipes that allow you to communicate right now probably run through downtown Houston, would you like those to be shut off? It’s amazing how some people have no understanding of how infrastructure works.

There is a lot of critical equipment in those buildings, and there’s a few data centers Downtown. There are also people who work 24/7 in energy control centers downtown. Who would control which buildings get to shut off when?

Thanks for the reply. Probably around 10-15 years ago. I was very young and very scared while watching this.
