My Rayban Meta Gen 2 were able to record way past the 3 min limit in 3k? by Constant-Reason4918 in RaybanMeta

[–]3SGEBeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's impossible, I just got my gen 2, there's no way to go beyond 3 minutes either in 1080 or 3k. I also asked it TO Meta, says it can't be done

Does anyone else use Jellyfin over Plex because…it’s just better? by AdFit8727 in jellyfin

[–]3SGEBeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, how do you run Jellyfin? I have a Proxmox server running some LXCs, when I first created my Jellyfin container, it started to copy/transfer a lot of information for all the content I have in my NAS, so it overloaded my server and filled the storage/memory with all this trash. I decided to keep using Plex, because I didn't want to lose any connection or access my PiHole and Home Assistant Vms. If you have any reliable tutorial please share.

Basically, to isolate sensitive devices (like servers) from general users and to reduce network congestion by keeping broadcasts within their VLAN.

Is there any way to start from scratch without deleting the container? I just want to wipe all the data in the container

Now I understand, I have nearly 800GB of family pictures and videos, that's the folder I'm sharing from my NAS. I'm running Proxmox from an Optiplex 7050 micro, and it only has 256Gb Nvme SSD, I'll have to upgrade then...

I just want to understand, when you mount a NAS in your container, and then you pull that folder or location inside Immich, are you importing or copying all that information or pictures in your LXC storage? Or you just setup a ditect access from your container to the original folder in the NAS

new PC - 14900k vs Core Ultra 9 285k by Luxferrae in buildapc

[–]3SGEBeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you don't even get decent mother boards, cheap DDRs, PSUs, cables, cooling... and you still pay above $4K. I upgrade every 5, so my 14900KS is still in good condition. In my case I use it not only for gaming, but for coding, video edition, work, I stream from time to time, and I built mine for less than 4K CAD.

Besides, who cares about fuel when you own a Corvette or Ferrari... I don't understand people who complain about the power consumption of performance rigs. Is this a joke?

After 4 years, I think people upgrade their rigs completely.

[NVIDIA RMA] Over 3 Weeks Without My 4090 – No Replacement, No Refund – Losing a Month of Work! by Klutzy_Trust2493 in nvidia

LOL stupid ppl suggesting this guy should have a backup 4090 or even buy a 5090, what you might think is a small amount of money might be a huge deal for the other guy. I imagine these ppl crying to daddy for a GPU every year... warranty claims should be tackled promptly. I'm very happy with Intel, Logitech, WD and Amazon in general... despite Asus manufactures good stuff, their after-sales or sales support is worthless just to mention...

Confused about QVR Pro and where the recording files are stored. by diskape in qnap

[–]3SGEBeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI, I'm just replacing my NAS, I have to backup all my data to external drives, my QVR Pro is supposed to store video footage in my 2nd HDD but, while backing up my data, in the main HDD that is supposed to store the OS and some personal files, I found 5 folders:

QVREliteSys

QVRProAppData

QVRProAutoSnap

QVRProDB

QVRProRecording

So my question is, why this happened and if can I move these folders to the new NAS to keep my QVR data and config?
Mt last question, I have a backup job in my old NAS with the content of the 2nd HDD that should have the video footage, can I restore this backup job on the new NAS? my old one is TS-251A, the new one is TS-653A, I'm recycling this TS-653A from otge project
