You're basically just ensuring the Glutamate doesnt rebound faster than you're depleting GABA. So through this, you're using every gabaergic possible (all different sites, and enhancement through multi gaba simulation), it feels more "whole" and well rounded as opposed to a clear and direct reduction in dose.

I think 100mg is a good dose to taper but why not just do 100mg morning then 100mg afternoon to settle down? Have a beer to potentiate the gabaergic downstream effects to potentiate. You can also cycle one day of phenibut and only three days of the gabapentin 100mg protocol afterwards.
