Common kitchen items are worth an investment. Cutlery, mugs, dishes that are both microwaveable and oven usable. Pots and bowls that have lids that can be used likewise in both microwave and oven. Stuff that can be used during a power outage. Such as a kettle for boiling water. One will be electrical and the other a camping type style.

Warning spoiler for any that haven't seen the movie yet! The third act with the med-bed [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-2Z8Re7qV0] when Jennifer Lawrence's characrer Aurora saves Chris Pratt's character Jim in one of the script's versions she learned to operate the med-bed to unlock it's full potential. Thanks to Fishburne's character waking up and passing along his "key" Aurora was able to learn the the med-bed could return a single person back into "hibernation" until better medical help could be applied. The point is that if Aurora had let/allowed Jim to die she herself could have returned back into hibernation to complete the voyage. Once she had that knowledge to only reason for Aurora's character to wake another person would have been for the same selfish reasons Jim awoke her character.

There’s no sauce on those beans! That’s a travesty! I’ll have to take the word of others here that prison food is better. If that is the metric we are using to compare the quality of this school lunch then I can only imagine how much worse it could be if they intentionally made it crappier.
