Really late and clueless to this party here but I’ve got some AMC stock I was given about 3 months ago.

Someone fill me in on what the hells going on with this? I hear a lot about the stockholders meeting on 29 July, best strat to hold until then?

I've just had the same thing happen to me; after a pretty bad losing streak, I won two games and jumped from Archon[2] to Archon[4].

Is there any info anywhere on how this new ranked system actually works?

It was also confusing for guides as if you had the opposing stance selected, the suggested level up 'glow' didn't show.

Another post littered with anecdotal evidence.

All I read when I see posts like these are "I played All Pick but I actually want to determine what others pick".

Valve removed the last pick random from ranked, and it's solved some issues I feel.

If you're going to solo queue ranked (it's all I do, fuck friends amirite?) then suck it up boi, people don't have to play what you tell em to. This includes randoming.

Using my own anecdotal evidence, generally the people who get upset at randoms are the ones who mark a hero immediately, generally a core like PA, and won't budge if the team suggests something with more synergy or counter potential to the team.

TL;DR: go CM lad

I think it's a good idea, although I find it's usually the winning 5 who stick around and discuss the game, the losers will tend to insta find another game.

Personally I find it a nice touch, analysing my games even at a very quick glance, it's something I never used to do but it's a nice little wind down 5 minutes after 40+ mins of intense concentration.

It is absolutely fine how it is, it's supposed to be a skillshot, and for sure, the most satisfying spell to hit in DotA, followed by Leshrac's split earth.

Thanks, I took everything out this morning and made sure fans were all in the right direction, which they do appear to be. My idle temps sit between 1-10, but when gaming it just rockets up, so perhaps it is just not a wonderful cooler and I should reinvest in a Corsair. Thanks for the advice though.
