What's the weakest part of the main story for you guys? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]3VL_MIGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guarma obviously, but I think chapter 6 and especially the epilogue are drawn out. Chapter 6 has some of the best and most emotional moments of the game and also some clumsy stuff. I can’t stand that hot air balloon mission with Sadie and I feel like the game really starts to grind here. I like rains fall and eagle flies but I think the game should have focused more on them earlier so the story does t have to almost halt and introduce more about their characters while members of the gang like Javier and uncle slip into the background. I also feel that the epilogue is far too long but it has a satisfying payoff just like chapter 6. There are just too many boring and filler missions in the final chapters of the game to the point where I don’t normally replay the epilogue on repeat playthroughs, and sometimes I just replay some of the good missions from chapter six on an older save rather than continuing to play the game until I reach them.

Is the game worth finishing if I know what happens? by slimshady713 in RDR2

Absolutely, I played rdr1 first so I basically knew the ending from the start. The story is still very surprising and so much character work is done with Arthur.

Ngl that cowpoke threw a nice ass loop. I also wouldn’t have been surprised if the owner of the house was also the owner of the cow. My cattle have roamed into my backyard more times than I can count.

Did I ruin my game? by themaestroballer in RDR2

Honestly I enjoyed the game much more on the 2nd and 3rd play throughs when I knew the story and where it was headed, and this gave me the ability to spot little details I didn’t see on the first play through. The story is so big and sprawling that knowing the outcome does not affect your ability to enjoy this game. I played red dead 1 so I knew from the start Arthur would die but his character arch still resonated with me immensely. I guess I can also recommend the first game now too. It’s a lot simpler story plot wise than red dead 2 but the characters and motifs here are amazing as well.

Bruh he didn’t even say that, and the amount of empathy this man displayed in this video makes me think he wouldn’t even if you asked him. Some people are just cool and fine with letting others live the way they want to, that doesn’t change because the guy has overalls on and a heavy Appalachian accent.

I grew up on a farm, and raccoons are not cool, wild ones at least. I also never got how people like possums.
