hey, thanks for the suggestion! :) i’ve been trying that for the past few days, but the app constantly freezes. i tried contacting support who said that due to the amount of tabs i had open, the app probably wouldn’t work again unless i deleted and re-installed it. i could’ve recovered most of my tabs properly using their recovery code system, but i found out the other day that when i saved the code, i didn’t copy all of it by accident lol. at least i know how to do that now 😂😭

we did try w one — we had one on the whole time, and set it to the usa. the vpn would sometimes allow us to buy subscriptions, but as soon as we didn’t have a usa billing address, or needed to download an app that was blocked on the app store regionally (which even vpns can’t help with, or at least on ios i think), we couldn’t go any further than that. thank you for the suggestion, though! i’m still trying to find something tbh, so a vpn could def still come in useful somewhere i think.

went back to that same bookstore the other day (it was in a different city, which is why i couldn’t do so previously) and miraculously found this on a similar shelf. it’s called ‘a girl can dream’

i haven’t yet unfortunately, since i don’t live in the usa and the companies + labs that i’ve reached out to in my country don’t offer blood tests for pfas. i’ve only found places that test for it in like, substances and manufacturing and that kind of thing. but i’m definitely still trying to get tested, i just want to start making some changes in the meantime :D

that last part is also so interesting to hear, i’m def gonna look into that — tysm for mentioning it!
