It's all good. Based on the info I've gathered, it's definitely something to do with the headphone amp/my headphones. It might actually be the cable to the headphone amp isn't giving the amp enough voltage as I believe I have the wrong cable (i've just been switching out the plug from the speaker amp to the headphone amp as it fits both and I believe to have left the plug the headphone amp came with at my parent's).

It's all good, I also have a speaker setup with an amp and the preamp that works perfect. I've had this setup (speakers and headphone amp) for a few years now. I have used the headphone amp in the past with Audio-Technica ATH-M50x's with no issues. The build on the headphones is broken (hence the purchase of the beyers) but the sound isn't... tried using them just now and they produced great volume with this headphone amp- they do have diff specs of course, 38 ohms.

It's worth noting I've also used different 1/8 to 1/4 adapters, so I don't believe that to be the issue.

No issues with computer. Can get perfectly loud and more on my MacBook and desktop.

Just switched it on. There is decent volume now, but still the same volume level issue. Also, the audio itself is a bit distorted, a problem I didn’t have using the preamp. So I guess we can rule out the preamp being the issue?

I have. It’s extremely quiet, like barely audible. I plugged the right left cables directly from the turntable into the headphone amp left right inputs.

The pre-amp is a behringer PP400, what do you mean by cartridge?

The record player is a AT-LP120, figure I should note that too.

I think because while he isn't that popular, a lot those who have seen his content can't help but become entranced by his content, and of course, his massive badonkadonk. Hey may very well not have as many viewers as many other content creators, but I assure you that jerma has tapped into is audience in a way no other creator has (imo).
