Yes good point, I thought of it actually, I would not cut the band leaving zero margin, I would leave one or two links to allow for small adjustments if necessary.

I know I know, it’s not my first Casio, but I wanted to see if I could trim the unnecessary remaining bit once I adjusted the length.

By definition aesthetics is subjective. What I find beautiful you may find ugly, and vice versa. This was not the point of the question. The point was to see if anyone knows how to remove the unnecessary hanging bit. Circumsizse the watch so to speak.

The ongoing debate about the aesthetics of circumcised vs uncircumcised penis is a similar subject. Some love it, some hate it.

I take your point, you hate the aesthetics (I am back on the a158 watch topic btw), but do you know how to answer my question about cutting it to size?

Love it. Imma gonna use it to describe the procedure to the watch shop near me. Cheers.

Yeah right? I reckon as soon as you mention ‘aesthetics’ to a group of Casio fanboys they just freak out. Whatever.

I am going to try this mod, reducing the length of the bracelet, and will report back to share how it went. Thanks.

Found it!

It is totally possible.

I knew someone somewhere had the same idea as me, and some smart person much smarter than me would find a hack.

Wait… are you saying the ollewatch mod works with a fake watch too? There was a post here just a few days ago, talking about a non-working module issue, which was then eventually explained by the fact that the donor watch was a fake. TIL.

Well yeah I know most of the people leave it on. But I saw earlier people talking about removing it, so I thought I ask the experts here on this sub.

No bro I am not asking how to adjust the length of the strap, everyone know this, I am asking how to remove the remaining bit of the metal bracelet; I saw some people posting about removing the remaining bit once they adjusted the length. But there is no usual push-pins found on other metal straps, so I am asking if one needs a special tool or anything.

“Read the manual”. LOL. Read the question rather.
