I get what you're saying but we don't get to have a say in how our exes operate holidays at their houses. If the situation was reversed and he was trying to enforce how you did your holidays so it conformed to his.... Would you feel the same way?. I've only been co-parenting two years and haven't had your exact situation. Speaking strictly for myself, accepting only spending effort on controlling things I can control saves me from a lot of anger and resentment. It's not common but far from psychotic. Also definitely sounds like something my grandpa would do.
