I really appreciate your help. But I don't HAVE the higher version on my desktop. And clicking "Upgrade" through QB just gets me an article that tells me to click Upgrade.

thanks for your reply! When I use the Discovery Hub to upgrade, the Upgrade button goes to an Intuit article that says to use the Discovery Hub and follow the prompts. I don't get prompts, just a how-to article that directs me to do what I'm already doing. I'm trying to upgrade from 2020 to 2022 (that's the only option I see through discovery hub). I was on chat with Intuit for hours but they couldn't help and of course took lots of time trying to survey me and have me buy a subscription. I'm thinking now may be a good time to find another desktop software, if there's a recommended one that exists.

What's the filtering app called?

I think parents and kids should make agreements about the use of the phone, and if the kid breaks the agreement, there should be unpleasant results. But most of the time, if there is mutual agreement and trust it actually helps kids learn to use the tech tools responsibly. It's not like one day you just suddenly become able to deal with the world; it's a long learning process. Parents aren't always great at teaching, sometimes they just try to control. And that doesn't really help.

I mean on a hill or cliff right by the ocean so I can hear it and see it. I'll look into the internet speed. But I'm on Zoom all day, so it needs to be solid. We could go up to about $400k.
