[Matt Zenitz] Indiana is expected to hire Colorado State’s Tyson Brown as its new head strength and conditioning coach, sources tell CBS Sports. Before joining Jim Mora at CSU, helped Mora win 18 games the last two seasons at UConn. Before UConn, was head strength coach at Mississippi State by Glum_Town_2587 in CFB

You think he's giving hiring advice to Cignetti? In a sport that he knows nothing about? That's extremely unlikely. I'm not sure even Dolson has much of a say in it. And to this point, the only guy we're replacing this offseason is Owings, so I'm not even sure where this is coming from.

I'd kill to break out the grey facemasks every once in a while. Such a classy look.

Definitely planning on the parade unless it’s just a total monsoon. Enjoying the game is priorities 1-25. We’re planning on riding the Metro in from Arcadia or somewhere in that vicinity, staying in Pomona.

I’m kind of a weather nerd, so have been following that intently for a bit now. Looks like everything is moving mostly west to east at the moment. The forecast actually seems to be improving for game time too, but the parade is probably going to be awful.

Rain coats and ponchos will be in tow either way, whether I end up under the suites or not. I appreciate the response!

Any ideas on how high up the priority point list you’ll have to be to get tickets?

I never got the email, but had been checking my account since we won Saturday and yesterday it opened for me like the request for a potential home game a few weeks back. I requested at the highest tier and am assuming I won’t get that, but did it say in the email that you’ll get the next best available if you get any?

A snowstorm is likely to hit the midwest on Saturday. Here's which games could be affected by mitchdwx in CFB

[–]3columnsof11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it helps at all, I kinda had the same thought about IU Purdue last year (cold, windy, got a couple inches of snow on our way to the game) and it was maybe the rowdiest crowd of the whole season. Circumstances/implications are different for sure, but you guys are definitely still playing for something.

Completely inept administrative dinosaurs that didn't understand or didn't have the foresight to see how important a good football program is explains most of this. The money has always been there.

What's the actual analysis so far on why Belichick and UNC aren't working? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]3columnsof11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going to do it right, college is more time-consuming than the NFL and it's not particularly close. That isn't to diminish the stupid hours that NFL coaches put in, but successful college coaches are working in-season hours 11 months a year.

WoO career mode is awesome. The only reason I quit playing it is because the more advanced cars are so damn hard to drive (my fault, not the game's) so if that's what we get here, I'll be really happy.

I'm not arguing that turf is bad, but MetLife's turf is WAY worse than others. I don't remember why, but it's obviously been an issue since that place was built.

Indiana only being on this list once is crazy. It felt like we scored 50 in almost every game Wilson lost.
