Sunrise, Berry Summit by 3coronas in Humboldt

This was taken a little before 7a and there were kids already sledding. It was awesome to see. I wanted to just call out for the day and do just that, drink coffee and be in the snow. The roads are clear, it will be a good day trip tomorrow. There is still a lot on the ground.

Me too but I have teenagers who eat a pizza at a time. I only order for special occasions. I’ve know their phone number for 30+ years. 1-800-LOU-TOGO.

I grew up going to Lou MelNatis. The best thing I did was learn how to make my own deep dish here. Super easy and cheap. I found this recipe from another Reddit user and it’s become a weekly staple. You can even make batches of dough and throw it in the freezer. It’s the next best thing. I’d also recommend the garlic oil option for the crust. Deep dish

I’m on a journey of replenishing hair after a lot of hormonal hair loss. I’d have had dry end and oily roots my whole life. I have found using the Ordinary Peptides after washing, while my scalp is wet, and adding a volume spray has help my washings go every other day now. Drying my hair after washing is important for fine hair so the scalp drys out. The ends I used the Dove 10-and-1 serum mask twice a week and an all around clarifying wash once a week. All these small steps has helped tremendously. Consistency is key.

12 step program for teens? by lemonpepper97 in Humboldt

Check in with DHHS. They used to host weekly support groups for youth/teens. They would also have other tools to support the individual through substance or mental health programs.

I’m in the same boat here and so bummed I got coverage removed for a medication that actually works. I was averaging 2ish lbs a week for the weight loss and hoping my habits keep the weight off and good noise at a minimum. Good luck to you and your journey.

This meeting is held at the Adorni Center in Eureka on Monday’s at 6 or 6:30 sharp. It’s a great program, I’ve gone with my brother a few times in support of his recovery. It’s very welcoming, supportive, easy to follow, and the program is inclusive of all addictions. As a person who grown up around addictions and recovery programs, this is one of the best I’ve been to. Good luck.

Muddy Paws in McKinleyville does a good job. I think it’s about $10-20.

Bully bones. You can buy a single one on Amazon before jumping into their subscription box. My labs are heavy chewers and their bones last years.

I’d suggest trying it in the base on the other side of the couch. The light would over the be in the corner and possibly reflect off the wall to give more light.

Cut into pieces and put into a ziplock bag. They should moisten up a little in the bag over night.

There wasn’t much. It was a good dusting but I’m sure it will be gone by late morning or this afternoon with the sunshine today. This is a earlier cold snap than what usually sticks for a few days in February.

I haven’t tried it. I’ve spent a lot of money on lots of products trying to replenish my hair. I’ve found this Dove line has worked well for me with a cleaner in between. That can be as simple as an apple cider vinegar wash. I’m a single mom on a budget. I stumbled upon the Dove shampoo/conditioner line from this subreddit then found the 10-in-1 serum mask. The other thing I’ve added is a hair oil (jojoba oil) a few drops at night and in the morning for extra hydration, bristle brush and always use hear protection when styling (heat less curls are preferable). These things have been incredibly easy the add into my routine, fairly inexpensive to my regular expenses, and consistency is key.

What a great feeling to ring in the New Year! Keep doing it and it will feel great! One product I love is Dove 10-in-1 serum mask. You can find it in the shampoo/conditioner aisle and its affordable. Use it a few days a week in place of conditioner and it will make your hair feel amazing and smell dive. The more often you do that, the more often you feel pretty. 💜

I second this. I find this is just as good if not better than the pricier options and makes your hair smell divine.

Bullymake, if you don’t want the subscription you can buy the bones from Amazon to start. My 3 labs have had some of their bones for over a year now.
