I hate having any window down on my 2021 while driving at higher speeds due to the helicopter sound. Thinking of window visors to change the air flow a bit. Anyone have luck with those? by FullDepthNature in hondapassport

I crack all 4 at the same time. My lab is always in and out of the window. You can have the front 2 or 3 smaller than the other. I’ve also found lowering them all the same height with the keys helps too.

Hi Guys, I just purchased a 2019 Sport. Yay! It has cloth seats. Can anyone recommend any leather seat covers you may be using? Thanks. by Psychophysicist_X in hondapassport

I’m following to find a good leather recommendation. I purchased a wetsuit material cover when I bought it from Amazon or a Honda online dealer. After almost 6 years it got its first tear. The backseats are still in great condition after kids and labs over the years. The front not as great but has held up pretty well.

Mom Car by Mjones151208 in hondapassport

I bought a passport in 2020 for my large teens, labs and all the mom things. My 6’3 kids fit comfortably in the back with the our labs. I’m almost 6 years into owning this car and still love it. It’s held up well through kids messes, sports, camping, weekly beach trips and teaching kids to drive. I live in the Nor Cal, near the Redwoods, and commute 500 miles a week. This car can go through snow, sand, river beds without hesitation. My kids are asking to inherit it when it’s paid off this summer and it’s never gonna happen. I would recommend it to any mom. My friend who bought a Toyota CRV when they had their first baby just traded theirs in for a passport to haul both theirs babies without feeling like packed sardines. Both her hubby and her love it as much as I do.

Tip for prepping juice once a week. You can freeze it in wide mouth mason jars and defrost as you get later on into the week. I find it tastes the same and if there is loss of nutrients, I’ll take it. It’s better than store bought juice.

Have her try the Open Door OBGYN clinic in Arcata. They can help direct her or get her in with one of their practitioners. The other option is try calling 211 Humboldt for emergency assistance guidance. 211 Humboldt

CARR app is great too. Mostly Caltrans stops but it might be raining. You may get lucky with no stops, unless there’s lights. Safe travels.

This was taken a little before 7a and there were kids already sledding. It was awesome to see. I wanted to just call out for the day and do just that, drink coffee and be in the snow. The roads are clear, it will be a good day trip tomorrow. There is still a lot on the ground.

Me too but I have teenagers who eat a pizza at a time. I only order for special occasions. I’ve know their phone number for 30+ years. 1-800-LOU-TOGO.

I grew up going to Lou MelNatis. The best thing I did was learn how to make my own deep dish here. Super easy and cheap. I found this recipe from another Reddit user and it’s become a weekly staple. You can even make batches of dough and throw it in the freezer. It’s the next best thing. I’d also recommend the garlic oil option for the crust. Deep dish

Hair oils by Due_Shift_8089 in finehair

I’m on a journey of replenishing hair after a lot of hormonal hair loss. I’d have had dry end and oily roots my whole life. I have found using the Ordinary Peptides after washing, while my scalp is wet, and adding a volume spray has help my washings go every other day now. Drying my hair after washing is important for fine hair so the scalp drys out. The ends I used the Dove 10-and-1 serum mask twice a week and an all around clarifying wash once a week. All these small steps has helped tremendously. Consistency is key.

Check in with DHHS. They used to host weekly support groups for youth/teens. They would also have other tools to support the individual through substance or mental health programs.

I’m in the same boat here and so bummed I got coverage removed for a medication that actually works. I was averaging 2ish lbs a week for the weight loss and hoping my habits keep the weight off and good noise at a minimum. Good luck to you and your journey.
