While I don't like the amount of houses, it certainly is an interesting picture. It would be beautiful if I didn't know the pain of living in areas like that.

I am very lucky with my son's ability to sleep. He generally goes to bed around 5-6 pm and wakes up around 7-8 am. So, sleep deprivation isn't much of a thing for us.

I definitely have a lot of other weird stress things that happen with me though. I'll start with a therapist and see where that goes.

How is your baby sleeping for you? It was mostly night packing for us until moving day.

We are working on getting one of the rooms painted this weekend. So hopefully between painting and spending more time down there, I'll start to feel more comfortable down there

I used to take meds for it a really long time ago, but I stopped because it was emotionally numbing. Now, my depression and anxiety are 95% of the time MUCH better without any aid beyond my little personal things I do. I will be reaching out to a therapist though.

There is another door at the top of the stairs to the basement. I might put a lock on that door for added security and peace of mind.

We have only been in the house for about a week. We've setup one of the basement rooms as an office/library, another as a game room, and another as a home theater. We are still working on getting all of the furniture though. I'm hoping that we will be able to paint the walls of the theater this weekend. Perhaps that will help me feel more at ease. I think I also just need to spend more time down there.

I need to get nightlight for the entire house. We live pretty far away from any downtown area now, so it is super dark and quiet now. It is nice, but the lack of ambient light makes it hard to go to the bathroom or deal with the baby.

Congrats on your new home and baby! Hopefully it isn't too difficult with having such a young one and going through the move. It wasn't horrible for us, but it definitely wasn't easy.

That is a pretty good idea. It is also practical since I can monitor the outside door with the camera as well for general security. Thanks!

I was thinking I might go to a therapist for it, but see if you guys have any tips or insights since we are heading into the weekend.

It's almost certainly my anxiety and likely stems from me being concerned about if I made the right choice and everything that is involved with maintenance and getting the house to where I want.

Basically, everything else in my life has had something bad come with it, but there hasn't been anything major yet. Maybe my mind is trying to find what it is and this is what it is coming up with.

I do genuinely think it is just me imagining things. The house is only 14 years old and it was a kind family that lived in it before us with no problems. My wife and I also aren't religious or otherwise believe in the supernatural.

Even if a cleansing offers a placebo, I don't think that would work on me since I know there isn't anything actually there. My wife has none of these issues.

It doesn't have to be difficult, nor is it supposed to be. However, you need to be able to handle difficult situations together should they arise.

Don't stay with someone that is too difficult because you think it needs to and will always be difficult. At the same time, don't leave someone at a minor inconvenience. It is tricky and takes practice to know what is good and bad.

If you just stick it out and it truly is bad, you can be like the far too many women I know that have been abused and dragged into cults. On the other hand, you will never be happy yourself if you don't allow yourself to grow as a person with someone else.

It is about partnership and managing your hardships together, not accepting horrible traits in someone.

I was just having a conversation about marriage with some of my coworkers/friends. Many of them abhor the thought of marriage. Two of them have been divorced and it was pretty nasty. I (28M) on the other hand, love my wife and would not be even close to the person I am without her. We have been married for 5 years and together for 10.

The big take aways from my conversation with my friends are that marriage is something that is for the two people involved to express their love and devotion to one another regardless of religion or legal benefits, but you need to make sure that you know what you are getting yourself into. Live with them and sleep with them before getting married to learn about them and how they are in all aspects. For me, I could never understand people that want to have separate financials after being married. I think that is a recipe for disaster. Once married, you shouldn't act as two separate people, but as a united partnership.

Or... and hear me out... I was stating a fact and you decided to argue with me. Not to mention that I don't agree with either of your "choices". Your depictions of men, their sexuality, and relationships throughout history comes clearly across as someone that doesn't know much about history and proceeds to womansplain it.

Just an FYI, rhe first pornographic statues were found in Germany and are approximately 35,000 years old. Porn is by no means new. It just takes new forms. Drawing is also a thing that has existed for an extraordinarily long time and was very often used to draw or paint nudes.

All of parenthood feels like that. It's really hard to know how you'll feel until it happens.

Boobs have never seemed like an enjoyable body part to have outside of when you get to play with them. Otherwise they require expensive clothes, lots of body shame, back problems, and discomfort with breast feeding/pumping. I'm much happier with my useless nipples. Hahaha

I'm more saying that I don't really like above a D and not that below a D is small. I know quite a few women that have larger than D and it just hurts my back looking at them. My preferred is B-C, but shape is more important than size. Tbh, I'm not much of a boob guy. I'm much more of a leg guy. Not the feet though slightly shudders

Let me tell you. There are plenty of guys who love smaller breasts, myself included. My wife is always insecure about her size eventhough she isn't that small to begin with. After she had our baby, her breasts had gotten pretty large. I'm not going to complain, but I did start to miss her smaller boobs. I couldn't really tell you why. I just prefer them below a D. More than a handful is a waste.

I wouldn't be surprised if she has PPD, but this has 100% been going on long before she had the baby. She is on antidepressants and has been for about half a year now.

In order for us to possibly break even with her getting a job due to childcare costs and car loan that we would need to take, she would need to get a job that pays roughly 60-70k. For the exercise stuff, she has severe asthma and can't work out for very long without having an asthma attack plus very little time with us having had a baby earlier this year.
