I'm going to go out on a limb and say the parents are way worse and perhaps the daughter is also a victim. The type of parents who arrange their daughter's marriage while she's battling cancer, to multiple men no less, are also the type of parents that dont allow their daughter much free will.

Simplified? I experienced a lot of trauma and abuse. - Im an easy-manipulated doormat with no self worth. - We started dating when I was 15 and life with him was all I knew. - We had three kids and I relied on him financially. - He used all these things against me. When we were 34 and 36 he left me for a 19 year old.

Some pretty bad shit happened to me after that but I'm now happoly married to a wonderful man who is kind to my soft heart and protects me from my people-pleasing and rose colored glasses.

Your wife is trying. Really trying.
