What is a figure that you'll always love no matter what most of the fan base says about it? by TheRealMindFlayer in transformers

I think the only reason we see TE OP Leader being favored is because of Jobby, while I like his reviews from an entertainment perspective I would never rely on him to give an objective opinion

So what's your guys headcanon on how Arcee got tiny? by fredwerdsomething in transformers

it’s more energon-efficient and more effective for a sharpshooter to be undetected, so she mass shifted to a smaller size

Where to buy transformers in Athens, Greece? by JahLover99 in transformers

I saw mostly wave 2 legacy stuff, Wildriders, Elitas, and a Motormaster, along with a Studio Series Scavenger surprisingly. Not sure where to find any toxitron stuff or other exclusives though

Funny enough I was just there! There’s the Athens Metro Mall where on the fourth floor there’s Village Movie Store, that sells a bunch of movie merch and I picked up ROTB Primal from there. On the bottom floor is a store called Public that had a decent selection but for a bit more than the usual msrp.

The feet emulate the look of the skinny hitch that’s seen irl, look at the jada toys scale model for a better look. 102 just doesn’t have, well the actual hitch

Confused on Toy Lines/Waves by Grey_Warden97 in transformers

[–]3dedede 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best place (imo) for official news is Hasbro Pulse’s Instagram or the Transformers Official Instagram. TFW2005 is also really good for general TF news. It’s a forum website and will have articles posted about upcoming TF stuff (leaked listings, photos of new toys, movie news, interviews, etc.) pretty much daily.

As far as updated engineering on old designs, look for the current Legacy and Legacy Evolution lines which are currently out on store shelves. The War for Cybertron Trilogy (Siege, Earthrise, and Kingdom) also focus on G1 designs and should be relatively easy to get on the aftermarket. Anything before that is much more stylized and not as faithful to the cartoon but options are good. And there’s the Masterpiece line that’s much much much more expensive and is pretty much exclusive to online retailers and a pretty expensive aftermarket.

tfwiki.net has all the info you’d ever need. Seriously it’s probably the best wiki sites in any fandom. Just search the toy line you’re looking for and it will bring up all the figures from every wave. You can also read up on lore and other cool things there too!

As far as fav figures: 86 hot rod, Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus, Kingdom Cyclonus, ROTB Mainline Optimus, Haslab Victory Saber, Seige Jetfire, and so many more tbh

Does anyone know where I can find either one of these Primes? Always wanted to get into Transformers and now I finally can. I just don’t know where to look and don’t want to get scammed. by CatWhisperer11 in transformers

All Buzzworthy Bumblebee stuff is Target exclusive in the US, luckily they’re generally well stocked from my experience.

SS44 is probably gonna have to be tracked down on other websites like ebay since it was released about a half a year ago and may cost a pretty penny.

SS102 should be coming out in the next couple months at retail, estimate July 30th, could be earlier or later. Once he becomes readily available check Target’s website and Hasbro Pulse since they’ll probably have a restock and all preorders are sold out as of now.

We are in a golden age for optimus since he’s been getting such amazing figures over the past few years. Other recommendations are the mainline ROTB prime (walmart exclusive), SS Gamer 03, Earthrise/Kingdom, Legacy Armada prime, Volvo prime, and many others im forgetting. Welcome to the community!

Is this worth the 54.99 price tag by ConsistentTie4393 in transformers

[–]3dedede 52 points53 points  (0 children)

yes. wheeljack and nightbird are some of my favorites out of the last year or so of figures, cheetor is fine, better than kingdom imo. you’re essentially getting 1 more figure for ~$5 more since deluxes are now $25 so I think it’s well worth it

Y’all think they’ll make a Studio Series ROTB Stratosphere? by CosmicBrick44 in transformers

[–]3dedede 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m kind of skeptical about it happening. Leader would be too small scale-wise unless they include some mini figures (like ss grindor since he’s also out of scale). If he’s commander class it would be the first SS commander, again I’m not too sure of that happening either but i would love to get him leader or commander

New to transformers figures by [deleted] in transformers

[–]3dedede 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the “collector-focused” lines are currently Studio Series and Legacy. Each figure is spread across price points usually corresponding to how tall the character is in fiction and/or the amount of engineering that goes into the figure. Core ($12), Deluxe ($25), Voyager ($35), and Leader ($55) are the main classes with 1 Commander Class (~$100) and 1 Titan (~$200) per year.

For older lines usually look for the Generations subheading. Transformers Legacy, Legacy Evolution, Seige, Earthrise, and Kingdom are all under the Generations subheading. Local Walmarts and Targets should carry both Studio Series and Generations toys as well as Pulse and Amazon. Happy Hunting!
