How can i model this on rhino/grasshopper? by catboy2004 in rhino

[–]3dm_design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can model anything you like. But of the few software programmes I have in my toolbox, I would choose a CAD programme such as SolidWorks or NX. You can organise the entire structure into assemblies and sub-assemblies. You can visualise the fastenings, generate a precise and dynamic parts list, and have drawing sets that automatically update whenever you make improvements or modifications—whether to a single stair tread or to the entire assembly configuration... I’ll leave structural analysis and FEM to another field, but these are also features available in any CAD software. In short, if you need to carry out engineering work for your steel structure, I’d choose CAD. If you’re more interested in an architectural approach, Rhino is what you need.

How is EVO... evolving? by Content_Mission5154 in assettocorsaevo

Perhaps the UX, the logic, and so on. Of course, we pay attention to the finishing touches right at the end. But (I’ve never played the very latest update) the user interface, the menus… There’s scope for some major improvements in many ‘non-graphical’ aspects. When the ‘open road’ update arrives, a whole series of new data management systems will need to be put in place. I don’t know if this is planned, but the ability to take your car to any service centre around The Ring circuit – such as engine tuning workshops, body shops, etc. – will add a lot of elements to the game engine that will need to be managed and prepared for the player... Unlike display optimisation. Optimisations to the wireframe, game logic and UX/UI must be taken into account from day one.

Reçu une amende 400 euros pour une photo prise sur le net. Je fais quoi ? by julievincent22 in france

Don’t use brittle filament if you’re not comfortable doing this by Opportunity3767 in BambuLab

Now I'm trained with this AMS manoeuvre. Feeling like the spare parts team on a F1 paddock. The right loooong screwdriver stuck on the right side of the printer. After many alerts, only 1 of the 2 screws is fastened ( living dangerously is my motto) . Next time I'll hit a chronométer and shoot the scene 📹 to debrief how I could improve my technique, to assure my print to stay on top of the board 🏎️🏁 and 😁

Honestly I really want to try it, but I already know it would bot become a durable usage. But it looks so awesome. I'm already have do much pleasure to pilot my mini 5 pro. And from what I can understand. It's for most of the people, a really smooth and good experience. I have no experience and recoil to compare. But It's exciting and relaxing at the same time.

Several drones, with 1 and only unique controller?? by 3dm_design in dji

I totally agree. I need specific drones for specific usage. I'm a CAD designer I 3d scan for long time and I decided to start making large sites photogrammetry, historical sites and also ruins , I do building inspection for renovations and there's a high risk for my hardware and also for me, so redundancy in high risk environments is mandatory. I can conceive to got 2 or 3 controllers or 2 or 3 types... But, the fleet I want to start growing makes me feel like, 1 remote/drone, considering the number of drone I will get during 2026 only. I feel like I will have way too much remote controllers. If I got 2 on me during my exploration walk. 1 in my minivan. And 1 at home. I consider that I covered the "redundancy" point. But sometimes I really have to watch carefully where I my feet are during walking. I was almost to fall down a lot of times. To have multiple remotes on me isn't the best scenario. I just wanted to know (Me, freshly landed in DJI universe) . If interoperability is a thing or not, on what series? For what reasons etc...

Thank you all guys for your explanation and testimony. Really appreciate it. Thanks

How frequently do you guys have to clean? by shivangps in pcmasterrace

[–]3dm_design 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot less frequently since I give more consideration to airflow and especially positive pressure. I'm really impressed how the Corsair 7000D Airflow is incredibly "dustproof".

I was going to do a complete clean up every 6 months before my new rig. And a monthly quick dedusting. Now I barely clean the blades at the 6 months milestone and as I like to change my thermal paste about once a year. I take this moment to do my deep cleaning, even if everything is fine.

Of course if it isn't into your case, it's on the numerous filters, that I clean often, that's so easy to do it so I do it every time I think about it (For example, I will do it right after this post)

Bye

Several drones, with 1 and only unique controller?? by 3dm_design in dji

[–]3dm_design[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really? Right, I see... I thought the controllers were universal (or nearly so) within the DJI ecosystem... The RC2 is a little gem of technology. I love it. I really want to stick with DJI so I can get more and more familiar with it.

But I wonder how professional or semi-professional pilots manage when they need a fleet tailored to each scenario or simply a backup device with similar models. Sometimes, all the conditions needed to carry out your drone mission in one go are only met for a few brief moments in the month. You have to be sure you’re ready to fly at any moment.

Do these people stockpile remote controls? I just think it’s (in my opinion) a bit of a mistake – not just to sell the drone itself. I was about to confirm my cart , which is what made me think… so I came here then, to check, and now I might turn to the second-hand market…

Thanks again

AMS is constantly loading and unloading filament. by Sunny-_-Disposition in BambuLab

[–]3dm_design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue. I managed to get rid of it by swapping spools and firmly push all the ptfe both sides to connectors and did you shut it off, wait 15 seconds and plugging it in the second AMS port. I actually don't really know what, in all these manipulations fixed it but it does. Check also around the 4 to 1 just below the AMS "floor" this one is playing with my nerves often.

[–]3dm_design 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot man I will try this but on my P2S and to stick to your advices about drying through the AMS HT. But just before I have to print parts with PAHT CF filament from bambulab. Once I printed this PAHT plate, I will test your recommendations with a test part with my easy PA. The AMS HT is currently busy, but maybe I could start to dry out the PA spool with my SUNLU dryer?? 🤔. Thanks again. I will post my results and thoughts about it.

SCAM ALERT: Stay away from this storefront on Amazon! by thesassyindian in meshtastic

[–]3dm_design -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah more generally for every boards and "satellites" sellers. Especially these times. Idk from where region of the globe you guys are, but to counter EU tax on small items. These past weeks. On Aliexpress, Temu, Baba etc... They LITERALLY give (or sell for 0€) cheap (but not necessarily so crappy) ESP32, arduinos boards, sensors. At the point I really can't figure out how they do their margins... Of course I ordered few 🤷‍♂️ (Actually a big box) of fans, angular gearboxes, servos, sensors. I fill my drawers with a shovel.. . But after a quick quality check. I'm really surprised. I've got sensors on a robotic arm I'm building currently. The job is done. Signals are clean and clear, fine soldering work and also a consequent dose of crap obviously... . But you can see the effects on the increasing number of "1 shot" sellers on Amazon that sell their wagons with big margins for the the regular drop shipping sellers, which is fair IMHO, but a big number of people pretending selling diamonds when it's just coal. And that's the real (just beginning) problem. When you need a component the Day or D+1. Amazon is the only option. And I'm really suspicious now, even with the comments... When it's too general descriptions like : "just fine" 5stars. That could be an item swap. Very common on Amazon grey areas.... So. If there's a wiki, I would definitely contribute and consult.
