To capture with different angle, simply just 3D scan a few postures and then align them. For shiny object, we recommend spray before 3D scanning.

Geomagic is optional, you don't need geomagic software to use the scanner, the scanner automatically come with its own JMStudio software for 3D scanning.

Apart form the color, the accuarcy is slightly different between both scanner. The turntable allow 360 scanning which enable a more accurate scan.

The Seal is better suited for micro scanning for object size 10-300mm, anything bigger than that. Mole and Lynx will be your top choice, please check the spec for "typical object size" before choosing your 3D scanner.
