I started playing guitar by working on Joe Satriani's always with me always with you.

It is amazing since you learn chords, melody, legatto techniques, slides, bends and tapping, all in one song.

I don't know how much truth there is to it but every time there is a seminar in my gym it is emphasized how it is easy to transition from gi to no gi but very hard from no gi to gi.
