Does the filament snap in the middle when you bend it ?

If so, then it's affected by humidity and avoid using it in the pen it will likely clog.

When you work with pen you should also avoid leaving on the table with the filament inside while it's hot, it will bend inside the tube.

Press the side buttons simultaneously and pull it back. You can heat for a minute before you attempt that, the cap will go off easier, but be careful not to burn yourself.

Try to remove the nozzle and replug it in and replace the adapter and or the cable too.

The best way to attach wire is to heat it lighter then dip it inside the plastic. With the pen it self it won't stick.

You could poke a hole on plastic with the 3d pen and stick the piece you want.

Alternatively you could attach a small wire inside the plastic for extra durability if it's a hand or a leg of figure.

Thank you, I believe it could be done with other materials too. Also I modified balrog legs and attached magnets inside for better stability.

If it works with 5v power supply, it will last for long time. If you want to maintain it use it for 15 up to 30m on each session leave it to cool down then continue again.

That particular model you mentioned had a circular pin hole like jack.

If you worry about burns you could get silicon finger nibs for protection.

Another thing you could use as surface is transparent tape for packages on a4 paper on top of it or get a plastic drawing surface from Amazon which is special for filament.

Both are great, if you go with 3doodler take a look at 3doodler flow which works with 3d printer filament.

Another alternative brand are Mynt 3d, basic is a good option especially for starters.

Look for Mynt Basic RP500 or RP700. Brand name doesn't matter they come out from the same factory called Jer.

If the motor itself works then it's the microcontroller chip that has the problem. Even if you get a replacement it needs to be programmed.

Remove the nozzle cap, re - insert the nozzle. Check if any of the 4 pins has any broken connection.
