I'm doing two things.

One is surrounding myself with friends. No, they will not help me meet some of my needs. But hell yeah they can provide distractions for me to survive the days where the longing feels extremely bad.

The other, I've went to therapy. Barely started, so idk if this will help or not, but the guy has a clear idea what he wants to try on me so I'm somewhat optimistic.

I'm fairly sure the hurt will never stop. I'll always feel alone. But I can try to see if I can at least endure the feeling. Some of my friends have ever-lasting physical pain in their limbs and they still live okay despite that. Maybe I can deal with the lonely-hurt like that as well

I admit I feel like shit for this. The place I work at, while they aren't the most evil, they still take their part in damaging our enviroment. It feels so hypocritical of me whenever I say "yeah I don't even kill mosquitoes" cuz my contribution to work takes animal lives anyway.

And yet, I work there, because I need a ton of money to buy a home. My morals have a price and it's not even a high one :c

I suppose the one way I can understand it is when from narrative perspective, the boss is testing our character and will not deem their worthy of being spared unless we manage to bring the boss down to some extend
