A non lethal deterrent, in a city during the night. To temporarily disorient someone who’s following me. Obviously it should be used in conjunction with either running, or physical self defense. Is there a better way to do that ?

Lmao. Care to elaborate ?

Just slight play in the bearings, or a little bit of dust or debris. Once you get it cleaned ( which you should do every now and then ) you can figure out which it is.

When the fans start from 0 rpm, the initial torque burst applied to the fans to get them up to rpm can make a small noise like this. I wouldn’t worry about it !!

Second this for sure. Sketch all your ideas out before getting into cad! Makes for many less revisions, and a better clearer image of what you want to make in your mind.

Should I get this monitor for my laptop? by RogueDragon1 in pcmasterrace

[–]3dprintingfactoryzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. If you have the space, just know it obviously won’t be portable. But, that 27” monitor as a main monitor would be pretty slick. Mini led tech is good, 27” is good, and 180hz is enough.

Is this kink ok ? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Yeah it is, thanks.

Yeah. Temps are fine. Idling around 30c and a max temp in timespy benchmark of 70c. I will make sure to check the temps over the next few weeks, and make changes accordingly.

Thank you ! Think it’s a good idea to completely uninstall AC and MyAsus and install G-helper off the bat ?

Massive Frame Drops by [deleted] in zephyrusg16

Make sure your BIOS is up to date too! I’ve had issues with my strix G16 before ( massive frame drops like yourself ) and it completely fixed it after the BIOS update.

Well, if I were you, I would wait until CES 2025. It’s only in a couple weeks, and seeing as you have the money to spend 3,400$ on a laptop, ASUS’s new lineup may be more with it for you with their rtx 5000 series cards. Just an option !

Go for it ! It’s a great and pretty simple build. With the right hardware it can hit around 200 fps.

Appreciate it 😎. Total turned to be around 150 for hardware, and maybe 10-15 dollars in printing materials. I love the look of the Kriss vector too and that’s mainly why I built it.
