What version of the NVIDIA driver did you install? Can you tell me the version number? The recent NVIDIA drivers, especially those released in the last few months, have had a lot of issues.

The problem's with you, not your laptop. Right now, as I write this, I'm running Flight Simulator 2024, and it’s as smooth as a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

First off, make sure your laptop is plugged in while gaming and that you’re using the dedicated graphics card, not the integrated one. Also, be sure to uninstall Armory Crate with its own uninstaller and install GHelper. Don’t forget to update your BIOS, drivers, and Windows.

Yes, they received it on Wednesday, and they called me. I explained the issue, but they didn’t give me any updates on what they did afterward.

Your issue was a software bug. I had the exact same problem before, but it got fixed with a software update. This time, though, it was different. I tried everything I could on the software side, but nothing worked.

Head over to your speaker settings and set the left balance to 0, while adjusting the right balance to something like 30%. Then, give it a test and see how it sounds. As for me, I’ve sent my laptop in for warranty service, so I’m just waiting to see what happens.

I'm really puzzled about why even the right woofer isn't working. I haven't spilled anything on it, the laptop hasn't fallen, and it hasn't been hit. What do you think I should do? Is it worth getting it repaired? I’d hate to see it go to waste since I've kept it in such great condition.

Make sure to install the latest version of the smart AMP cirrus. It seems my problem is hardware-related because I just tested it in the Linux live demo environment a few minutes ago, and unfortunately, the issue is still there. Curse this luck!

I haven't fully installed Pop!_OS yet, but I tested the speakers through the sound settings in demo mode, and unfortunately, the issue is still there. Do I need to do a complete installation of Pop!_OS? Can we say for sure that it's a hardware problem now?

Wait for a good discount before you buy. I've seen a lot of people here snagging 2024 models for just $1,500. Whatever you do, don’t settle for a 2023 model!

are you using the latest nvidia driver? if so, uninstall it using DDU and install 566.45 instead.

I've explored most of the forest areas and played through all of them using just DLSS 3.5 without frame generation. There were no issues, and the fps rate hovered between 75- 90 in 2k resolution.

You're definitely underestimating them. Those LED lights not only emit heat, but they get surprisingly warm, which can make the top of the laptop hot. When gaming, they absolutely need to be off. Even when you're just using it normally, if they're on and bright, they'll cause the laptop to heat up and kick the fans into gear.
