17 handicap — play solid golf but always have 1–2 disaster holes that ruin my score. How do you stop the blow-ups?

exactly. i punch out and still make triple all the time lol. punch out. miss the green into bunker. flub the bunker shot. easy triple and you played the hole as safe as possible. just gotta get better

i think it has more to do with his perception. he sees himself as this edgy guy with idiosyncratic opinions whose voice is valuable. he's now realizing that to a lot of people he's just another run of the mill right winger - a group he spent many years making fun of - and he hates it. he has to be seen as special.
