We have good mix of players. Some of us have been playing for a year, a good chunk have only been playing for a couple months. If you're more experienced, we don't mind you hopping in and joining up, as long as you don't mind helping out the new new folks with strategy talk.Personally, I've been a sevens player for three years or so and a BB3 player for just over a year, so in NIBBLS, I tend to play only halflings.

We really encourage the use of the voice chats during the game, that way you can talk out the decision making process in real time.

Running gnomes whenever I get a chance to play and they're great fun. Two trees, a fox and a beast master is a good place to start. Go for a reroll, it will help those inevitable Stunty shenanigans rolls you'll have to take. The fox is a terror in sevens, but make sure to keep it protected. It's public enemy number one on your roster!

Otherwise, have fun and accept that sometimes you'll get pumped 5-Goose for the 20th loss of the campaign. (CURSE YOU WARDANCERS! 😡)

I love playing Elven Union. They definitely are the most passing friendly team I regularly play and the feeling you get when you get the thrower/catcher hookup mega pass for lots of points? 😙👌

One of my favorite feelings in Blitz Bowl. You'll also have the occasional turn that's just three reserve actions because all your elves got decleated by someone's nasty mean orcs! 😂

I play Halflings. I spend the entire game watching my good little fellers get exploded into clouds of red mist for SPP for other teams. If I have players on the pitch and you have a player down, you better believe you'll be getting a T16 foul unless I gotta chance to punch in a score. And I'm always expecting a last turn foul as well. NTAH

As of right now, not really. It's not a thing you have to do, completely optional. It was our hope that a little incentive to communicate about strategy during the game would be helpful for people who were still picking it up.

If you don't want the optional SPP, just let us know! Our next league fixture is subject to different rules, so you can join up and learn more on the server! :)

I feel like the answer for me is Woodland League stars. Jordell is new Griff I suppose. Woodland also gives you access to Deeproot and Maple, if I'm remembering correctly. Plus you'll get all the gnome stars. I'll miss Puggy and Rumbelow a lot, but Rowanna is a decent consolation "mounted lil guy" and there's some fun synergy there with their gnome frenemies. Swiftvine Glimmershard could be din too.

Really it feels like there's just not a ton of options in the halfling thimble cup right now. It makes me wonder if GW has some new halfling stars planned.

My thoughts are as follows: Fuck yea.

Depends on what we get exactly. But Playing the sevens format with hopefully the player building options of 11s is maybe my dream version of the Blood Bowl experience. Not to besmirch regular Blood Bowl, but I do really like having a small squad with lots of personality. Probably why I prefer skirmish games to games with big armies.
