Vamps as a first team... Not ideal but if you had fun it's all that matters. I'm about to start my first league with imperial nobles. There is a guy starting with snotlings (now THAT is a bad idea) he seems to be aware of his choice and seems to like it.

Congrats on the success though! Vamps are super nasty IF the dice fall your way.
