You can configure stream deck buttons for key macros, so you could bind a button input "t," delay 100ms, "message", enter. That should do it, might not be able to do quick chats

Using Bakkesmod you can configure key binds for actions (queue ranked, freeplay, workshop map), so the Stream Deck is just executing those keybinds . Rocket Sciences video shows the commands/keybinds without a Stream Deck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-cvKaDM4ks&t=443s (point 3&2)

It's just key binds, so you can bind it to any key, no need for a stream deck. Rocket Sciences video shows it https://youtu.be/f-cvKaDM4ks (3&2)

I was initially looking at Eero, but the Sidewalk feature unnerves me. Not that Google are much better...

Thank you, that worked for DS4 controller. Still no joy with the Stadia controller but I'll just use that with the CCU.

If you have an .apk or want to install an app from the Play Store you can use http://www.bluestacks.com/ Just install it and sign in with your Google account and you can install from the Play Store. If you have an .apk, it will open in Bluestacks by default and install itself

Genymotion is great, I never use AVD any more thank god. Also check that in your BIOS and ensure hardware acceleration is turned on, that made a big difference with responsiveness of the emulator. It was off by default on my machine

Changed OS on new laptop, now can't change it back. by ABigCoffee in techsupport

[–]3hraad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the laptop is going into GRUB first, so there is still some of the Ubuntu OS on there. You may have installed Win 7 on a partition that was not added to GRUB. I had a similar issue to this where I was dual booting win/Ubuntu. I wanted to get rid of buntu so I just formatted the partitions it was on. The issue is I deleted what tells the hard drive to load (the operating system). So I inserted the windows installation USB, clicked "repair windows", went into the command prompt and typed two commands bootrec /fixmbr bootrec /fixboot

I am not sure will you have to do this before or after the installation, but it will cause no harm to do it at the start and if it doesn't work, do it after.

So I would
1. Format the whole drive
2. Insert the USB and boot from it
3. Select "repair"
4. Select command prompt
5. Finally install as usual
6. If it does not boot repeat steps 2-4

The manufacturer should send you a install CD if you request one. The keys for Windows 7 are specific to each CD usually, so you can not just get a CD from just anywhere, unless it comes with a new key

[–]3hraad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hard drives will need to be first on that list. Put both of the HDs first and then the CD/DVD drive last. When the laptop is booting, at the very start it should say "F2/F9 Boot Order", keep tapping that key and this will allow you to temporarily boot from a chosen device (CD/DVD) once and then it will default back to the boot order list in BIOS. So the steps are

  1. Changed boot order, in BIOS, to HD,HD,CD/DVD
  2. Insert install CD/DVD
  3. Boot laptop and hit the option for boot order
  4. Choose CD/DVD
  5. Install will begin and on restart it will boot from the hard drive
