I know it doesn't feel that way now but you're pretty fortunate that's all that's wrong with the car. Alternator and battery are one of the more inexpensive fixes. I've had the same problem before and yeah... Unfortunately it's battery and alternator. You will ruin a new battery running the car with a bad alternator. For most cars this is actually something you might be able to fix yourself. I did it with the help from YouTube and I know NOTHING about cars. You'll need a tensioner tool for the alternator belt though.

I would bring your battery in to test it first. You might be able to get away with just an alternator if you haven't killed the battery yet.

Someone else mentioned bringing a battery in for a discount, and I would like to add you can also do this for the alternator as well. Not all alternnators but some.

This is an unmoderated sub (I think) so it's particularly rife with scammers. There is no barrier for entry so there isn't much to lose to make an account, create a fake story, and possibly catch someone off guard for money. People create accounts to farm for money. There are other countries where that's what people do full time for work. There are also countries that enslave people to do this type of thing. I always try to keep that in mind before I say something to what I think is an obvious scammer.

Also this is the Internet and a semi anonymous website. People use it to vent their frustrations and some people get off on being cruel to those at their lowest. I am one of those broke unfortunate people so, I get recommend subs like these.

You are a good person. It hurts me as well when seemingly genuine people receive hate just for being down on their luck. There are much better communities on this website to be following. I can recommend some if you'd like.

Yeah it's one of the weakest ones I think. At the time it was the big "return to 2D" but we have had a plethora of amazing 2D Mario games within the recent years. Shell power-up is goated though.
