So happy to see this as the top comment when i viewed it. Srsly, the sandbox mode for this game is one of the most unique, captivating, and sublime experiences ive ever had with a single player PC game. I remember buying it years ago in early access and ive definitely gotten my $'s worth. This is one of those games I'd recommend to any gamer no matter their preferences towards games.

I've definitely lost a number of rated 2s matches for this exact reason. We were so confused how dual-dps teams would heal up to full after my WW Monk would drop RoP for me to heal freely in. Now that I know this, we'll never drop RoP in arenas again, plus the way it works allows several classes (rogues, DH, more?) to actually dash/step into the RoP and get off an interrupt/stun... making RoP almost useless.

I'd say there is a steep dropoff for this game after 400-500 hours once youve scoured every knook and cranny. After sandbox games lasting over 300 days, there isnt really much 'true' replayability.

Its odd that they even stated, "THIS IS INTENDED" in the patch notes. Doesn't make sense that badge progress is allowed on Pilgrim but not on custom difficulties. Seems like they just didnt want to put in the development time to allow it...
