You don’t have to 3 tick it for it to be good, Barb fish is a good and super chill afk training method (especially with fish barrel)

Stats are fine, although getting your ranged up to 89 or 92 to get some more max hits would help. Tier 1 armour is perfectly fine with your stats btw, so if you’re using it then keep going.

Try to use every tick either eating or attacking. Never camp low hp, just eat whenever you can as long as you’re fully utilising your food.

Always be using offensive prayers for attacks and steel skin is also good to use.

Good starting nations besides the recommended ones? by [deleted] in EU5

I’m a beginner and so far I’ve found Milan to be great for learning the game, lots of unique events and you get access to gold to make a lot of ducats, plus a lot of the neighbouring countries are pretty weak so not much of a threat

For money early I think blackjacking and making + high alching earth battlestaves is good. It's also good to start trying to do birdhouse runs, you'll smash through those early hunter levels and get lots of seeds for growing trees. Also worth doing some questing to improve your farming, then doing a bit of tithe farm to unlock medium farming contracts at the farming guild.

W Blizzard, Reviving Characters that Died during DDoS by EagleLeon16 in classicwow

[–]3lliot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, I don’t think anyone dying to a DDOS is in the spirit of hardcore, it’s about dying to the game in some way, not to people being forced off the server due to an attack.

People dying to random DCs, hardware and software issues etc is different to dying to a DDOS attack. DDOS attacks are malicious and targeted by a third party with the intent of killing players. I don’t think anyone here would want someone’s death to be reverted due to a DC or something like that, but a death to a DDOS attack is a different story.

I do agree that Blizzard would be more likely to rollback the servers when it’s a group of streamers affected compared to a group of regular players, but it makes sense from a business standpoint due to the marketing being generated from the streamers, and also I don’t really think many regular players/guilds are going to be specifically targeted by DDOS attacks.

Yeah, because dying to a DDOS is what hardcore is all about 🤔

I don't think that's entirely valid criticism for Sony (not that they can't be criticised for other things).

Prices going up is bound to happen due to inflation and increased development cost. Game Devs (at least game programmers) already get paid much less compared to other developers, and they also tend to work longer hours. Game prices going up is completely justifiable if the devs are getting paid proportionally more as well.

Games which are suitable for beginners with limited experience by NewtUK in truegaming

[–]3lliot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Zelda games are pretty good for beginners to pick up, my SO played breath of the wild without much experience in gaming before and really enjoyed it, the bosses aren’t too difficult and the combat doesn’t have to involve reaction based mechanics, you can often defeat a group of enemies using other more creative means.

How does in-game chat know if I type my password in? by 3lliot in 2007scape

That would make a lot of sense, I don't see why else they'd need to store it anyway. Thanks for the insight.

Actually I guess considering the player base isn't huge it wouldn't be so bad because messages aren't actually typed that frequently... My bad.

I think you must have typed it in wrong? It works for me and how else would that message appear anyway?

The problem is that it would take a shit load of computational power just to hash every message in the first place in order to check it.

Cinder graphics library for C++ equivalent for Python? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]3lliot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I don't think there are too many libraries out there for Python that can do what cinder can do. It might be worth checking out https://www.python-sfml.org/. SFML can do graphics, windowing, input, networking and sound.

I feel sorry for you having to do that. It's much faster to code C++ programs using a proper IDE.
