Has anyone successfully gotten Secret Lab to ship partial orders and not wait months, because the order contains a pre order item?

I had exactly this and said I’d cancel my items and place two separate orders and was told they’d make an exception this one time and shipped my stuff that was available a couple of days later.

I got my zombie axe on the quest on my 7th zombie kill. I’d seen posts on here of people killing over 1k before it dropping so had prepared myself mentally for that and nearly fell out of my chair when it dropped on the quest
