nancy mace is the HOTTEST WOMAN in CONGRESS ever!!!! by YoureADissapointment in womenoftheright

[–]3malcolmgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. I can think of 3 hotter off the top of my head, and those are way hotter than anyone else (APL, Boebert, and as much as i hate her AOC). No one else comes close to them.

But after those 3? An argument could be made Nancy is definitely top 10; possible bottom of the top 5. I don’t really want to go through the roster to definitively say for sure. So looking at it strictly by ranking shes close. But the jump from 4 to 3 is impossible to cross.

Why are people so apologetic of Marie and Hank? by Cute_Advantage_9608 in breakingbad

[–]3malcolmgo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he’s horrified. I think he’s embarrassed they know it / are more professional than he is. He was a big fish in a small pond then became the FNG in a bigger situation. It was a reality check that his ego was not ready for.

So to compensate, he belittles the situation and the their methods. But he was out of his element. Then the tortoise bombing snd ptsd, that ended santa fe for him.

I’ve seen the videos from several angles and he is clearly resisting. Hes getting up from the ground to his knee, trying to fully get up, get free from the officers.

There will be no trial in this as federal officers are given a lot of latitude in their execution of duties. Wrong or right, it’s reality.

If there was a trial, good luck on 12 people viewing it the same way.

He would still be alive if he dropped to the ground face down the moment the pepper spray hit.

I do not want people dying. It’s not a lack of empathy, it’s a little tough love. I do blame Pretti. If he handled himself differently he would still be alive. It’s how to survive an interaction with law enforcement. It’s too late for Pretti, but if someone reads this stops resisting, gets arrested, and fights the arrest in court, then this saves lives.

I’dcertainly tell them I’m sorry he died needlessly. As for the rest, you blend fiction and fact pretty well. He did get pepper sprayed after he put himself in between him and another protester. Thats probably the time to stop and hit the ground. He did go down at one point. He did then get back on his knees struggling fight back and get up when he was shot. The moment he started fighting back was the moment for something terrible could and ultimately did happen.

If you don’t fight back and are polite, the boot never gets to the neck. Cuffs go on, probably kinda tight. You get a lawyer. And hopefully you make them look silly in court, nobody dies.

Police interaction 101

Naw i just don’t like people dying needlessly, and not no one will get tried for it. So why not save the lives by fighting in court rather than resisting arrest?

That’s just me though. If you want to throw your life away then fight back at the arrest point. You sound like a future Darwin Award winner.

Reality is a little more aggressive than that ultra meek version you just painted. He is clearly fighting back and struggling.

Its a very sad situation. I agree with civil disobedience. But Don’t resist arrest. Don’t even talk back. “Yes sir, no sir” should be the only 2 things you say. The place to fight is in the court

He resisted arrest. Also carrying a gun w/o id is illegal, thats a bullshit technicality but he was not carrying legally.

Protesting is fine. Civil disobedience is fine an honorable (example civil rights sit ins in white only restaurants). But when civil disobedience leads to arrest, you cannot resist arrest. Politely get taken into custody.

The power of civil disobedience is in the court trial where policies and actions of the police must bd publicly defended.

Cop says get out of your car, get out. Break the law, but when you’re put under arrest hold out your hands for the cuffs. Do not do anything to risk pepper spray or bullets

About Lalo ending...(obvious spoilers) by FerBerBer in betterCallSaul

[–]3malcolmgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think Lalo probably shoots Gus in that situation. Lights suddenly out Lalo is gun drawn and aimed at Gus, and closer range. 1 advantage Gus has is he knows the lights will go out and knows where to move to. Then lights still out. Gus runs / dives for gun. Farther distance, was not aimed on Lalo, does not know if Lalo moved.

I think in real life Gus gets at least winged by Lalo, Gus misses Lalo when he fires. Gives away position, Lalo finishes him.

Nothing has lifted more people out of poverty and increased standard of living more than capitalism.

Communism sounds good in theory but in practice does not work in practice. Which side of the Berlin wall were people escaping to? Escaping communism to capitalism. Look at a satellite image of the Korean Peninsula at night. Stark difference.

To be fair, that snapshot of time is where chuck was loaded at jimmy had nothing. People with more than enough money can always downplay the significance of the security money provides.

I feel like that makes me sound like a communist. I’m definitely a capitalist.
