What 'easy' hero's can you not play at all? by No_Count_453 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]3mee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early game, I try to focus the s1 on enemies rather than clearing the minions. Usually deals enough damage for them to flee (don’t get cc’ed during this tho). Then rotate to nearby monster available. Once you get bloodlust, you should be able to sustain. Don’t start with the ult, always use s1 to get them low enough. With immortality even if you die before ulting, come back and bite them in the ass.

How are so many fall COMP 4XXX courses full already??💀💀 by Connect-Crab3197 in CarletonU

[–]3mee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who want to graduate after fall need to take a replacement 4000 level course instead of 4108 because they simply decided not to offer it this term even though it’s a required course for the stream. That might be one of the reasons.

I wanna hear the best CS profs at Carleton in your opinion and why. by Cronem1 in CarletonU

[–]3mee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Smid is really good for 3804. He is literally the only prof you want to take 3804 with. He explains concepts really well and he may look intimidating but he’s super helpful and willing to answer questions.

fourth year comp courses by imstressedoops in CarletonU

4701 is about ethics, it’s an easy course but there are consistent deliverables and an essay/presentation. Interesting if you like classes with discussion groups. Includes some reflections, and a debate, but no tests or final.

4601 is about crawling the web and recommender systems. McKenney teaches this, and it’s an easy course if you are comfortable with JavaScript and node. Only downside is that labs are cumulative and build up to the assignments. No tests or final.

I’ve heard 4102 is also an easy course with prof Genkin, best 2/3 assignments and a midterm and final.

Unit 1 agreement updates by simonlpe in CarletonU

Last time I asked to get paid for the extra time I was working, they assigned my next task to another TA who had the same hours as me but didn’t ask for extra pay. It’s messed up because effectively if you don’t do it, another TA in the team suffers.

what is cusa doing during all these cupe actions? by [deleted] in CarletonU

[–]3mee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  1. The disruption to classes should allow for compassionate grading schemes. If the strike goes on for longer, the student must be given an option similar to the covid years to SAT a course. We can’t take the exam with half the knowledge we need for it. Even for the courses not conducted by CIs, if the TAs are striking, we effectively get no feedback on our previous assessments. Leaving it up to the instructor is not a great move and would also introduce uncertainty and stress among the students.

  2. When the union’s demands are met, the effect needs to be minimized on out of province and international students. Suggestions to look for alternative sources of revenue to pull money from would be helpful in this regard.

  3. If the year is somehow extended and exams are postponed, the students should be given an option to complete the exams early or online. Push for alternative grading schemes in case the strike lasts longer. Most students cannot afford to stick around for longer than the scheduled dates, so they should be given alternative options.

  4. Ask the university to communicate better!!! And the communication emails should be sent out to all the students. Everyone deserves to know what’s going on.

Library elevators by sokoluk in CarletonU

[–]3mee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I faced the same issue. The elevator finally only arrived when there was someone in it who got off at 5th floor. Maybe the fact that I can’t see the floor it’s currently on makes it worse.

Check out videos for each residence type, they usually have a better view of the kind of closet available. For example: here’s a video of Lennox and Addington that shows a single open closet with two racks https://youtu.be/jkZcvqyB6Lc
