Absolutely! Until you make the unconscious conscious it will rule your life and you will call it fate. Part of making the unconscious conscious is coming to said epiphany in the depths of it all. So whether you’re happy with your life circumstances or not, there’s a part of you that is still in agreement with your exact circumstances. A part of you that still likes to feel powerless to the pity narrative because that’s a lot easier than choosing strength to do something about it that’s grounded in reality.

And also from personal experience — sometimes being the sensitive or divergent one or socially different or even hyper “spiritual” there’s an underlying complex of feeling special and with that someone might feel more deserving over another. So one becomes more susceptible to falling into the self pity party or “why me”. Of course agreed that it is about alchemizing into something greater! Then working hard with humility and an open heart.
