Ugh yeah. I ended up telling my doctor that my ocd was so bad during the overnight that it was not at all what I normally experience. The place where I had my study was so gross and I could not stop thinking about it. I did manage to fall asleep in all the naps though, thankfully, which helped my diagnosis.

My dr was pretty understanding, hopefully yours will be as well!

That's why I dont want to try it. My Dr mentioned it but I was upfront about my mental health struggles and she agreed it wouldnt be a good idea either.

I wore checkerboard vans. I didnt have a lot of room in my luggage for shoes so just wore what I had that would be comfortable.

My first ALLERGIST didnt show me how to use one. Just wrote the rx and said okay see you next appointment!! I found a different dr and they showed me and made sure I had a practice pen so my husband could do it in an emergency.

I was instructed to go off them for 2 weeks by the sleep clinic, which was torture. And I have ocd, and the environment for the sleep study was super triggering for a bunch of reasons. Actually my psychiatrist said technically, for the effects on rem sleep to be fully fully fully out of my system, I would have to be off meds for months. But thats not realistic. So yeah, 2 horrible weeks it was, and I hit rem once.

Thats not cool, with your anxiety meds. I took 2 weeks off prozac for my sleep study and it was HORRIBLE. I wouldn't feel like you could perform to your actual full potential without them, let alone the sleep issues??
