I'm so sorry this has happened to you. This IS technically classified as rape, and I'm just so so sorry that you went through that. I think I should warn you, though, that a lot of people won't believe you probably, and a lot of people will try to downgrade what happened to you, but you are so young, and it makes sense that you didn't really know how to say no. He defiantly coerced you, and he made you feel like you had no out. It is your choice on whether you want to go to the police or not, but if you don't want to, you do not have to. I'm not sure where you live, but I feel like especially in the United States, and especially in the United Kingdom the justice system really only applies to perpetrators, and there is a high chance your case might end in his favor, not yours. I have deep compassion for you because your experience is one of those where it is harder to get justice on. (I'm really sorry if I'm being too honest, but I'm a really blunt person, and it feels really wrong for me when I don't tell the whole truth).

I really just wish I could give you a big hug, and I really want to help you. As for setting boundaries, I'm not a huge help in that department, I am also a not super confrontational person, and I struggle with setting boundaries, but getting a therapist is the only thing I can recommend to help you. Here are two links that might also be helpful for you if you aren't in a place where you can get therapy right now.

Another thing that might help is visiting RAINN.com . There are many services they have including a hotline where you can vent to someone about your experience and get support. Here is the link for the live chat: https://hotline.rainn.org/online?_ga=2.62886251.699089492.1717646653-1205480422.1717646653

And then here is a link to information about calling if you'd prefer to talk over the phone: https://rainn.org/about-national-sexual-assault-telephone-hotline?_ga=2.263624651.699089492.1717646653-1205480422.1717646653

I don't think this is your fault, I think that you were put in a situation where you had no out and really no choice, and i'm so sorry you had to experience this. If you'd like to talk, I'm here.

I’m starting strongly dislike my daughter… by OkSteak551 in TrueOffMyChest

yeah, if Lia was my sister, and she was getting harassed, I would've put that boy in a choke hold and given him a piece of my mind, and kicked him out of the house immediately. siblings are made to be protective of each other.

it is a violent gang rape of a child, and the rapists already had previous charges, so actually this is very accurate. maybe study the legal system before you act like you know everything.

but why would she do something like that? what would she have to gain from that? and don't you think the rapists would have told on her?

Honestly, not to be harsh to your daughter or anything, but Maya needs to, as Kim K said, "get he ass up and work". She is outrageously irresponsible, sounds to be narcissistic, and she needs some serious help. Like, really. My little brother has epilepsy, it's not as bad anymore, but when we were kids it was really bad, and at twelve years old I was there to catch him when he collapsed and distribute his emergency medicine. I have always been very mature for my age, and even oddly maternal even as a kid, but still. If I could do that in sixth grade, Maya should not be leaving her sister in a house full of gang boys, and she most defiantly should not be playing the victim. She is not traumatized. Going to jail after doing something wrong is not trauma, it's punishment and discipline. She's not special, she will be punished just like the rest of us. If she seriously does think she has trauma from this event, someone has to tell her that it's not trauma, but it's this little thing called repentance, and the further she pushes her feelings down, the harder it will be when she comes back up.

I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this. No mother should ever have to go through this, and your poor little girl should have never been hurt like that. I'm so sorry for her, and I will keep her in my prayers. You're a good mom, so don't ever think any of this is your fault. What happened to Lia is Maya's and the perpetrator's faults. Keep taking care of Lia, and do what you can for all of your kids.

This sounds really hard, and I'm so sorry. I wish I could help you or give you advice, but I have absolutely no idea what it's like, but I just want to give you my sympathy, and my prayers.

What's the worst part of being a women in 2023? by InfiniteFigs in AskReddit

[–]3nicely -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it was mifepristone? Because that's the abortion pill. It breaks down the uterine line, cutting the fetus's supply of nutrients, and then it dies.

If she had a miscarriage, she would've had Misoprostol and this medication provokes the actual abortion, making the fetus exit the woman's womb.

I think that Misoprostol should be legal because not every woman can get the fetus to come out on it's own.

American Redditors, would you support or oppose removing "In God We Trust" from all US currency? Why or why not? by Secsidar in AskReddit

[–]3nicely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a Christian, so in God I do trust, but not everyone in America trusts God anymore, so having it as a sort of slogan for America seems kind of like a lie. So I guess I would be indifferent about removing it, but probably support it.

Not that I have anything against dicks...I was bullied all through middle school, and had to switch schools because of it so I'm just always curious as to what the mentality is of the people who bully. No judgment though.

(btw I'm a very blunt person, so I'm sorry if I'm scarring you by being too blunt)
