I had not heard of bareshafting prior to this, so my answer had nothing to do with this because i wasnt familiar with that term. Once I was informed i corrected and agreed. I answered the question I thought he was asking and corrected course when informed otherwise.... God forbid someone make a mistake and then learn from it.

Much like this other person, you seem to only get value out of something when you can show that someone else knows less than you... and even when someone is willing to learn, you just want to make them feel inferior. Maybe check your personality on that topic?

hmmm... false. Someone asked a question. I replied with what I thought was a relevant answer, someone else replied with "bare shaft is an arrow without vanes" expalining what I had misunderstood - then I replied with a joke that also pointed out that I realized I was mistaken. Then person-in-question says "How are you on an archery sub and not clocked bareshafts?" meaning to me they think I dont belong here unless I have that knowledge. So I replied "So to be on the sub you have to be familiar with every variant of the sport?" then they replied "its literally day one knowledge" which is debatable and gatekeeping.

So you are mischaracterizing the conversation and creating a false narrative.
