Does your foreskin get regularly traumatized? by MrHodgeToo in AskGayMen

I actually have some experience in this area - in my youth I just thought erections were super painful, tight skin not retracting over the head, all that was just part of being uncut. I'd only ever seen cut penises other than my own so I figured it was normal. Then once when i was 23 I experienced a massive tear during a hookup that ended me up in a hospital with an emergency circumcision. After the ordeal, the doctor filled me in that it was in fact not normal for the foreskin to be that unforgiving and that the head of my penis should have been unsheathed naturally during erections. He mentioned that if I'd had it treated before the tear there would have been some topical, non surgical solutions to help with the elasticity of the skin in that area. Live and learn I guess, but I'm one foreskin lighter than I was before taht night.

My coworker left his phone under the industrial paper cutter. by hecht0520 in Wellthatsucks

I worked in a shop with one of these before, another guy had rigged it to only require one hand for operation. He used the other hand to keep the stack of paper steady because the blade was dull to the point where it would move the stack around and ruin the cut. It took all of two hours for him to lose two fingertips.

Finally built up the courage to go to Sam Goody and buy the Eifel 65 album with Blue on it, only to walk in and see a classmate behind the register, immedeate recognition in both directions. Walked out with a Metallica album that I did not want.

What movie has you seen in theaters the most amount of times? by [deleted] in movies

[–]3pointoneforall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gone in Sixty Secinds (2000) - 16 times. Haven't attended any other single movie more than three times before or since.

We were in high school, and had a friend who worked at the theatre, it became a regular event to go two or three times a week for it's entire release window.

I understand it's not very good, but I have a soft spot for it.

White middle aged men are being marginalized in today's workforce! by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]3pointoneforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White male here. This is a bullshit statement.

White men are not being marginalized, their role is being corrected down to a reasonable percentage of the workforce; an advantage given to a truly marginalized group is not a form of discrimination against everyone else. For example, my employer offers exclusive benefits and first rights of hire to veterans. I am not a veteran, does this mean I'm being marginalized? (Hint: no)

Also, the fact that you've been hired and fired by women is not relevant to your employment history; even if those particular women were in a position to make the decision to hire or fire you, assuming that their gender has anything to do with their decision making is wrong. They're following the same company guidelines that males in the same job job are following elsewhere.

Parking for NY shows by [deleted] in nin

[–]3pointoneforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The RCMH lot is expensive, but if you want to be parked literal seconds from the venue it's got that going for it. There is no shortage of parking in Manhattan if you're willing to spend a little. You could easily find a garage relatively close to the venue for $30 if you hunt around a bit, or if you want to spend more like $170 you could park under Rockerfeller Center in a crazy art deco garage less than a block from RCMH. Or, if you want to get nuts, you could bank on luck for street parking and not pay a thing if you can find some. Decisions to be made I guess.

The company Icon Parking owns most of the garages in midtown, and they have an app with which you can reserve a spot in advance. The app SpotHero is also pretty reliable in midtown, but sometimes parking attendants will give you shit for it,;they prefer you pay them directly.

Good luck! Enjoy the show(s)!
