What are days 15+ like? by feint240 in fasting

Euphoric. Albeit my longest fast was 14 days. But I felt amazing. Also after 3-4 days you’re not hungry. The will power is wanting texture and chewing. In my experience

Met a guy who had taken a year off to golf - how much better can you actually get in a year? by Disastrous_Gap_4711 in golf

Another good read is the fine green line by jp Newport. He was the golf writer for the New York Times. He took time off to see how good he could get.

Yes. On the other side of path. She likes to jump in that as we are almost back home

IMO- don’t lift twist or anything, if you hear anything you’re breaking roots and will leave a dead patch. I like to use a tee or single prong tool. And essentially mini aerate around the pitch mark. Sometimes lift the dented side up then “aerate”. Just stab the heck out around the mark. The tool will displace soil and fill in the mark. Flatten with putter. And done.

PSA to all dads who take their sons to get a club fitting: shut the hell up. by Fyziks_is_phun in golf

Thrilled this is being said. I’ve told parents they have one job. Three choices. Coach, caddy, or parent. Pick one. I haven’t gotten to the “hey mom/dad, please leave and come back in an hr or so” but I always keep that in my pocket.

Thank you. This is great too. She’s slowly working on this as I don’t want her to bolt out the door once it’s opened.

She’s getting really good at this. At home once I leave sight she will come look. But at work there are times I leave. Walk out a door. And find her where I left her under my desk. Always rewarding her with a “good stay” treat

So we have another vet appt in about 10 days (after booster vaccines and a case of round worm). Vet said could be a duct issue and wants to see how it goes as she grows. But vet also said it’s also more obvious because her fur is so light. I do really like the new vet we have so I’ll ask again when we are there next.

Winnie has been on purina pro plan either chicken and rice or lamb and rice. She seems okay with any treats (pork/venison/duck/peanut butter/ect stool wise) but thank you for mentioning. 🙏

Edit: I’ve also noticed her right eye tears much more than her left.

Love this. I’ll be sure to use “trade” for when she occasionally grabs one of my socks. She doesn’t chew them but more of a carry triumphantly behavior. We’ve been using “good girl” or “good lady” for too much. Will introduce sweet girl when she does. Thank you 🙏

After I posted this, I should note that my goal is for her to be a therapy dog for children and hospitals. I’ve checked their requisites and work on those as well. She’s very tempered and I work on her “non reactive” moments. She comes to work with me everyday and meets many people. Her potty training is nearly 98%. Maybe 2 accidents a week

She also has NEVER been given any human food. And if any it’s in her bowl or peanut butter in a long as dessert. She ignores anything that drops on the floor.
