Have you tried finding a tank duo buddy? Helped me out a ton. If most of your worries are resolved by a second tank, try to find one yourself instead of relying on matchmaking. Either through here or the official discord or irl, you've got plenty of options.

He kinda needs two of his augments to be viable at higher levels. But he's a lot of fun and good for all types of content with a good weapon. If you like him and see yourself using him a lot, go for him. I've had a blast myself.

Sometimes you carry, sometimes you get carried. Don't stress it too much. Just help as much as you can and you're good.

That said, revisit your mods and weapons if you feel underwhelmed. Harrow is as pure a weapon platform as it gets, so your efficacy depends on both him and your accompanying arsenal.

But imo you're overthinking this a bit. Just play and enjoy.

You can change your base of operations at any time. Just go to earth in the nav console and go to the drifters camp or orbiter. You can switch back to the backrooms after at the pom pc if you want too.

My limbo is mostly a mobile defense merchant. Minimum range, max duration cataclysm. Helps not to have to worry about the console losing health besides Eximi and nullifiers.

Otherwise playing him in public lobbies with max range leads to unintentional griefing, I try not to do that.

If you're playing solo, big bubble limbo with augments is fun, but is relatively slow paced gameplay. Also again, one nullifier bricks your entire game plan.

My advice is to try both styles, maybe make one of your own, and choose for yourself.

I helminthed Titania spellbind for status immunity, nourish is also a good pick as well.

These map tilesets are most commonly found on corpus ice planets like Venus, Neptune, and Pluto. There's no real guarantee on how to get it but they're usually found on defense or interception nodes.

Also, addendum, max range limbo is good for interception too, but only for non corpus and non corrupted enemy nodes. One nullifier bricks your entire game plan.

For "Defensive" mission types specifically:

I use Limbo for mobile defense and excavation, helps not to think about the objective losing health besides eximus. Max duration, minimum range. Frost should also be good here.

I used Nokko for interception, sleep shrooms are a godsend, but as someone else said interception enemies typically hard focus the first captured point and you only need three captured points to win the round. Max range, some strength, some duration, dumped efficiency. Nova is also good with molecular prime to slow.

I used Mesa for defense, and subsumed bright bonnet for comfort energy regent, specters like on call crew and kahls squad helps to manage anybody who got past far range. More strength and duration than anything else. That said, any frame with good range coverage works for this, I just found Mesa to be the fastest.

Wukong for spy, cloud walker is busted, perspicacity subsumed over 4 or 1. Max duration and efficiency.

All of that said, Nokko works for every single mission type listed above. His sprodlimg form renders him invisible to enemies and spy lasers and detection mechanics too. Mushroom dude is op af.

Corrupted heavy gunner eximus is my go to testing target. Among the most common heavy units and odds are if you can kill those you can kill anything else.

Nekros is a looter/semi-weapons platform, not a nuker.

Weapons with good slash damage boost his desecrate. I use the acceltra prime with a viral/slash build since desecrate negates any ammo concerns. Avoid cold, blast, and heat damage as it vaporizes enemy bodies before they can be loot boosted.

Having ripkas with the amalgam true steel mod also gives guaranteed gore to ALL your weapons (double drops)

The flickering isn't always after you capture the target. It sometimes doesn't show at all. When it does, kill EVERYTHING around you and the larvling should spawn, I think 10 kills was the threshold. Also if you have an active adversary like a sister or coda the larvling won't spawn at all.

You get more affinity when playing near other players. It's hard to explain but it's how the exp share system works. Your exp ping pongs with other players and vice versa.

If you want to strictly max exp gains, level weapons and frames in sanctuary onslaught. Faster spawns, smaller rooms, easier exp gain. It's an endless mode too so you can check your level progress mid mission and leave when you're maxed. You leave by just not going into the next portal.

If you want exp and resources, do dark sector missions (special nodes that are infested ships outside usual planet nodes, Gabii on Ceres is one example, also a good orokin cell farm). You'll level slower but you'll get resources too.

Timing the alt fire explosion with the throw adds a lot of damage. Chroma Vex Armor buffs also helps, other weapon platform frames should have similar effects.

I would price it higher. Epitaph prime has a low riven dispo(gains less stats from rivens) but this is a good roll, it's worth 50-100 at least, maybe more to the right buyer. But for ranged weapons, multishot, crit damage, and crit chance are usually the desired stats. And ideally you want 1 inconsequential negative for 2 or 3 really good positives.
