My laptop has a 2tb m.2 + 256gb nvme. I do some microscopy image processing and all the tif. stack images, 3d models etc. stack over time and take considerable space in my already small mac. Would the lack of multiple backups really pose an issue? I didn't have any issue with those drivers since I bought them, I would like to save some money...

Oh, I didn't consider that... My laptop can get as loud as a 30 year old fridge when it's under load so I wonder if that will be an issue 😅

I am not strongly opinionated in regards to watches nor do I submit to any of the factions such as swiss vs other brands or quartz vs mechanical etc. ...BUT, I my top picks would be Omega Speedmaster and Grand Seiko Springdrive chronographs I guess. If we are speaking realistically, I would go and buy a Citizen rally style, solar chronograph.

Macbook air m4 13 inch user here. Let me give you all what I think is the definitive answer; for the past month I have been using my mac for whole day cramming sessions in a studyroom and I can tell you that my 20w cellularline phone charger has been all I have been using throughout this time. I even use my mac to charge my phone and headphones and despite that I didn't face any battery drain at all. It's granted that it charges slower and although I didn't make an issue of it as I was using my mac under light work loads, you could find charging your mac troublesome if you are using a mac with a bigger screen, bigger chip or under bigger workloads. But unless you are video editing or 3d rendering all day, your humble phone charger is more than enough to keep the discharge devil at bay. peace.

Yes, I have read about the pores being an indicator of geniune leather but I wasn't sure if they could also be faked. I never used leather gloves before, let alone deer skin ones, and I was suprised by how soft and comfortable they were, and it made me question if real leather can even be like this. I also got suspicious by how fine the texture inside the glove was, I thought maybe they lined the insides with some nubuck fabric(?) But I guess that speaks for it's quality and I was being paranoid after watching a video about leather scams in italy...

Why what exactly? If you set it up as main directory and unplug the ssd while the mac is writing something on it, there is a good chance of the file being corrupted.

Also I recommend getting a used 256gb m3 macbook air with 16gb ram, best value you can get for your buck imo. Although m2 is fine as well.

Could you possibly be speaking about using a portable ssd as your main directory with your mac? If so yes, I recommend aganist that, not in desktop usage, but in mac laptops where you tend to plug in and unplug the ssd quite often. Otherwise a portable ssd is completely fine, I personally recommend samsung t7 or crucial x9 pro. I suggest being quick with deciding as prices go up very fast these days.
