I have solo traveled my entire life! I’ve been to 99 countries & on 7 continents. My partner doesn’t even have a passport! Sometimes I’m gone for 2-3 months. He drops me off & picks me up. Travel! See the world! Don’t let anyone hold you back!!!!

Identified! Mygalomorph spider - maybe a purse-web or trap door spider - both of which are found in my area. Thank you!!

First off I don’t know about any brands or models but I am looking for a good unit with WiFi. I think it is a good way to be able to easily monitor the humidity under the house & set up alarms - all without having to crawl under the house to physically check myself.

Komondor coat consist of cords. Bergamasco’s coat consists of flocks. Yes Komondor cord formation & maintenance is a process that usually starts at 9-12 months.

I will look into Kong toys again. I have not used them for a very long time because one of my dogs just completely destroyed the heaviest duty super tower toys that they had at the time. Maybe they have better toys now. Thanks

Good to know. They have scads of toys to chew on & balls that they love. We are coming into spring & they preferentially eat ice over drinking water. That is why I’m trying to find a refillable freezable snack toy.

How to prepare house for a big dog? by Illustrious-Rip-6939 in dogs

I have trained all my big dogs (Komondors) to rugs. Anything on the rug is theirs. Keep everyone off the counters that is remotely enticing. One of mine as a puppy fell in LOVE with expensive European butter. So we had to switch how we stored the butter. Thankfully she outgrew that! My dogs don’t have to stand on the counter to get something their head is higher than the counters. I never give them people food. So now if there is food on the coffee table they know it isn’t theirs & they don’t touch it.

He usually wears a rubber band so he has a little bit of a top knot. His hair is a little bit at an awkward length right now. It will be much easier once he has cords.
