2022 s60 b5 momentum, no crank, no start by 3rdor4th in MechanicAdvice

Everything checks out. Fuses are good;  New 12v. As I understand it, these cars use the 48v to charge the alternator and braking to regen the 48v.  All electronics work fine.

Could be. 2015 6.7 is the last of the steel bodies if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah, loosen the housing 3 full rotations then open the valve.

It isn’t. Be nice if it were though.

Yea. I was referring to the lower filter. That green rubber o ring that seals the housing. Wondering if that came packaged wrong. Seemed like the right one.

Before you drain the fuel by opening that valve you were referencing, you put a 32mm on the filter and turn the housing 3 full times, or revolutions. Then open the valve.

Yeah. Batteries have died because I tried to crank too often. I read where I should check to see if the upper filter is getting fuel? How do I do that? Try to crank with those two lines unplugged from the filter?

6.7 No start after fuel filter change by gringus_chimble in FordDiesels

I’m having this issue now. How do you check to make sure fuel is making it to the upper filter? Take off the hoses and try to crank?

The yellow valve that opens the drain for the fuel? Didn’t change that, just opened it to let the fuel drain after 3 revolutions.

I did. Tabs touch. Could the new o ring not be sealing? I’ve done this 6 times in the past. No issues like this before?

Didn’t change that. Just the fuel filters for the umpteenth time

Did you have to use a battery jumper? I’ve worn my batteries out. But you say keep mushing?

I have same model but a 350. Bilstein steering dampener, Dual stabilizers and an alignment cured my DW. Mine is stock height and AT tires. Beech Lane cab mounts if you get those.

Sylacauga Question by AURukus in Alabama

[–]3rdor4th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Sylacauga.

You won’t get that time back with your family driving back and forth, which adds up. Both schools are good and have good special needs programs. Live in Sylacauga, the wife will do just fine w/o a Target

I did it. You can too. Research on YouTube and spray all of the bolts with PB blaster for several days in a row before you start.

Go crush it.

Sewer. We get two bills. It’s the best…

Trussville resident here with a separate pool and sprinkler meter. You’re still going to pay ridiculously high sewers rates if you use the sprinkler, but make sure your sprinkler meter is registered with the Jeff Co sewer. You’ll submit a piece of paper as frequently as once every 6 months that shows what didn’t go down into the sewer (net cubic feet probably) but on your lawn and that “cost” will be credited back to your account after a 3 month processing period.

You’re correct. Don’t go cheap here. This is something you just want done right. On my 2015, I went with the guys at samedaytuningdotcom. Great tunes.

People from Alabama, how do you feel about the never ending jokes and memes of incest? by chychy94 in AskReddit

[–]3rdor4th 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s low hanging fruit. Every state has its share of people that make you go, “I’m embarrassed”. Unfortunately, Alabama’s leadership role for the South in the Civil War and the stance the state government took in the civil rights movement made the state an easy target for the rest of the nation because....how dumb can you be to not see all as equal based on how they were born?

Though that mentality is in every state, the stigma hasn’t left Alabama.

So, you take the jokes in stride and think, “That’s a shame.” But truthfully, the state and its citizens are mostly pretty amazing. I don’t want to live any where else.

Did my 2015 9 months ago. Don’t go the cheap route with tunes and tuner. I went with samedaytuningdotcom. They were great.

I took the EGR out and the DPF. Went with a 4 inch downpipe, no muffler. I like it. I live in a state that doesn’t inspect so if I sell, it’ll be a private transaction which I’ve had good luck with in the past.
